5 5 ABSTRACT Status Security (STS) Token combines exchanges, brokers, traders and investors into a decentralized secure, stable and transparent network. This revolutionary digital currency is focused on more than just security and efficiency, it uses peer-to-peer technology to provide worldwide availability and stability to the often volatile crypto-based financial market. Operating within the fast-paced and secured Ethereum blockchain, STS not only recognizes early adopters and long-term holders but will also be the first to deploy a Status-Based Incentive Programme (SBIP) into the worldwide market.

6 6 THE PAST: A REVOLUTION CHAIN Industrial revolutions have always dominated and changed the world in a big way. The first one happened way back in the 18th century with the rise of special-purpose machinery that was powered by coal, which enabled the mechanization of the textile and agricultural industries. 7 The second industrial revolution occurred in the 20th century, almost two centuries later, and saw technological advancements initiated by the emergence of new sources of energy: electricity, gas and oil. Often marked by Henry Ford s mastering of the moving assembly line and ushering in the age of mass production. The third one happened just half a century later, around 1969, with the emergence of nuclear energy. This witnessed the rise of electronics like the transistor and microprocessor ushering in the age of telecommunications, computers, space research and biotechnology. The fourth industrial revolution was observed within just three decades. It is situated at the dawn of the third millennium and saw the emergence of the internet. Rather than being rooted in a new type of energy like the first three, this industrial revolution birthed a new technological phenomenon digitalization. The building of a virtual world from which we can steer the physical one. By the speed these transformations are occurring, a fifth industrial revolution is already around the corner if not here already! And we believe it will be squarely underpinned by the current rise of blockchain technology. However, when it comes to the rise and rise of blockchain technology, there are a ton of metaphors or hyperboles out there. Stated VERY simply, and in the language of cryptocurrency, a block is a record of new transactions (that could mean the location of cryptocurrency, or medical data, or even voting records). Once each block is completed it s added to the chain, creating a chain of blocks: a blockchain. Because cryptocurrencies are encrypted, processing any transactions means solving complicated math problems within these blocks (and these problems become more difficult over time

7 7 as the blockchain grows). People who solve these equations are rewarded with cryptocurrency in a process called mining. Currently, finance offers the strongest use cases for this emerging technology as it makes it possible to digitally transfer money across the world by bypassing traditional middlemen, like banks and even governments. Something that has investors, brokers and traders incredibly excited. In fact, the World Bank estimates that over $430 billion US in money transfers were sent in this manner in 2015 alone.

8 8 THE PRESENT: SO, WHAT S THE PROBLEM? Well, along with the exponential growth of the cryptocurrency sector, and much like the.com hype at the late 90s, the market depicts extreme volatile values. For example, 1000s of new cryptocurrencies are introduced on a monthly basis. With interstice manipulations on their values and unreadable market reception, it has become too wild an environment for the mainstream financial community. At the end of the day, the complexity of the exchanges, the need for reliable data that is largely unavailable, the high-risk nature of these currencies, extreme volatility of the market and other practical difficulties, like coin dumping at slight market fluctuations, have all compounded. This renders buying and safely storing an effective and diverse portfolio of digital coins a truly complex problem. 9 9 THE FUTURE: STATUS SECURITY (STS) TOKEN Status Security (STS) Token proposes bringing a stability and security to this incredibly volatile market, in order to create a future where both first-time and seasoned investors can enjoy some peace of mind when holding a portfolio of STS tokens. How? Well, our team believes that by integrating with the rise of wallet app technology, that we ll have the ability to deploy a unique, never-seen-before, Status-Based Incentive Programme (SBIP). Using this model, we ll be able to deliver incentives to STS Token holders who are faithful in preserving the growth and integrity of our cryptocurrency. Our SBIP will encourage the growth in value of our coin through community trust and STS Token retention, similar to the way that bonds maintain a value based on the market share of the top 500 publicly listed US companies (the S&P 500). This methodology has been ideated out of the belief that there is always going to be uncertainty. There is no way to predict values or behaviors in the cryptocurrency market. 15 15 Why the FREEZE? With the problem focusing on the stability of STS, our team have devised this plan to keep the STS value stable by rewarding our valued HODLers for their loyalty and commitment to the STS token. Four Phases of Status Security s growth: 1.) Foundation Phase providing global availability of STS tokens via occasional airdrops/bounty programs/rewards and establishing long-term investors primarily through SBIP. Getting listed to a few decent exchanges and Coinmarketcap. 2.) Building Phase focus on the building and execution of apps and programs (such as but not limited to: Status Security Mobile/Web/Desktop Wallet App). Volatility of STS would have decreased significantly by now, following the release and implementation of the SBIP Programme. 3.) Integration Phase study and creation of Status Security s own blockchain will take place. The STS Reward programme will be adjusted significantly, yet a new reward programme shall be born.
