1 VIP-300U TRANSPORTABLE RF JAMMER The Transportable RF Jammer model VIP300U uses a proprietary barrage jamming method to defeat remote controlled improvised explosive devices. It works by sending out RF Jamming signals to jam radio receivers while in motion or standing still. This is a transportable system. Its deployment is as follows: Step 1: Bring the system to a designated area, such as an outdoor meeting place, guard tower, military base, or base camp where important people are a target by ambush - attack from an RC IED remote controlled weapon. Step 2: Open the system and either connect vehicle DC power, mains AC power, or use the supplied battery. Step 3: Turn the jamming system on and disseminate RF Jamming energy. Remote controlled RF triggers will immediately be attacked with the jamming wave of energy, prohibiting them from receiving a triggering command to detonate their lethal payload. Question: Can the VIP300U work in a vehicle? Answer: Yes, it can work inside of a vehicle, but the vehicle s body may reduce the jamming signals ability to radiate outward. For vehicle mounted systems, it would be advisable to use the VIP300T series or VIP500T series with external antenna configurations to disburse the radio jamming signals. Question: How long does it take to secure an area with the VIP300U? Answer: There is no warm up time with the system. Simply follow the 3 step procedure (as outlined above) and instant jamming will take place. The system can be moved from vehicle to vehicle, and does not need to be temporarily or permanently installed in a vehicle. The Transportable RF Jammer incorporates optional jamming modules for extended frequency coverage as well as increased output for optimum RF jamming. To activate jamming, it takes about 1 second to turn on the system switch. When this Radio Jammer broadcasts electromagnetic interference using extended frequencies, the chance of detonating a roadside bomb or radio controlled mines are reduced. This Radio Jammer yields additional power output to increase the level of protection around the area of deployment in order to jam radio receivers of a remote controlled IED, especially if the radio transmitter happens to be located in close proximity to the radio receiver / radio detonator. Using Radio Jammers such as the VIP300U with an expanded architecture helps to cover both known and unknown threats in VHF, UHF, and Microwave frequency ranges. Expanded architectural design provides for the dealing with future threats as they arise and as determined by the user. By adding jamming modules, the power output can be increased, offering increased saturation of the electromagnetic spectrum. First generation VIP300U Alpha series: Performance rated at 85% by our engineers. Second generation VIP300U Beta series: Performance Rated at 70% by our engineers for reasons antenna propagation obstacles. Third generation VIP300U G series: Performance Rated at 90% by our engineers, but was discontinued after post prototype stage. A redesign brought about the necessary corrections, paving the way for the Fourth Generation system.

5 Fourth generation VIP300U - D series: Module enclosure redesigned to incorporate heavy duty housing while at the same time, effectively manage residual heat during jamming. Rigid construction with heavy duty cables are taken into account for the VIP300U. Shown here is a portable analyzer testing the system to confirm antenna radiation is operating at satisfactory levels.
