6 Sketches Creation process Concept The intenton was to create a bathroom where people can relax and dress up as well as having privacy at the same time. Mainly it's designed for a couple - both can be in the same room but can still have their own space. Those two areas can also be noticed in the change of the fooring. The color and the surface influence the senses and the cognition. Two sliding doors made out of traslucent glass guarantee intimacy if it is wished. A big bathroom vanity provides a lot of storage space and includes a smaller part to get closer to the mirror and put on makeup or shave.

16 Lighting The eye catcher in the bathroom is a wooden panel that enables indirect illumination of the wall behind the big freestanding tub. This creates the feeling of being in a spa and helps to relax. On the other side there are three big mirrors with vertical lights from the sides to always look one's best. The "vanity"-part is brighter than the "intimacy"-part to have a visible section as well. In the shower and toilet area you can turn on graze light to highlight the wall which creates a pleasant atmosphere.
