3 Global Real Estate - UK advised The Silvertown ship on the 3.5 billion redevelopment of Silvertown Quays in London s Docklands. advised The Silvertown ship; a consortium of Chelsfield Properties, London developer First Base and Macquarie Capital, on the redevelopment which will introduce a series of brand pavilions, as well as space for incubator and technology businesses, built around a re-enlivened dock, including 1500 new homes, restaurants, cafes, galleries and leisure facilities both on and off the water. is also dealing with the construction of a new bridge interfacing with Crossrail and ExCel and the funding of the whole scheme. 4 Global Real Estate - UK advised on the development and leasing of The Shard. advised the landlord, Teighmore Limited and Sellar Property Group, on the development and leasing of Western Europe s most prominent head office building, The Shard, London, including the signing of a 10-year lease at a record rent for the South Bank office rental market. At 309 metres, The Shard is the tallest building in the European Union. They genuinely make you feel valued. I have found them to be very responsive. 5 Global Real Estate - UK Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx advised on the acquisition of the Helicon Building in the City of London. advised China Overseas and Investment, the Chinese state-owned enterprise, on the acquisition of the Helicon Building in the City of London from Deutsche AWM for in the region of 140 million. A significant and complex transaction involving acting for a Chinese State-owned enterprise that bought property from a German seller, all within a very short and challenging timeframe. They were very good to us. We were looking for assistance at short notice and they provided a very seasoned practitioner for us on a particularly challenging deal. The architecturally striking building includes a 35,000 sq ft flagship retail store, 14,000 sq ft of offices, and six flats, branded as 11 Soho Street. La Française Real Estate s (REP) acquired, from the Pierre et Vacances group, for French institutional investors, the extension which will include 250 luxury cottages over an area of 2,500 sq m featuring a spa, restaurants, shops and play areas. Ltd., of eight retail properties across the country from The Macerich Co. Heitman will acquire a 49% stake in three properties in New Jersey and Colorado, and GIC will acquire a 40 percent interest in five shopping mall properties spread throughout Arizona, California, Texas and Oregon.
