Our distinctive luxury furniture is designed and hand-crafted by artisans in our Central London workshop.

2 WELCOME Blackbird London is a family run interiors business, specialising in beautiful hand-crafted furniture. With simplicity at the core of our design, we take inspiration from the world around us to create timeless pieces that last a lifetime. Our distinctive luxury furniture is designed and hand-crafted by artisans in our Central London workshop. We combine traditional skills perfected over three generations with modern propriety techniques to create high-quality, bespoke pieces - ranging from coffee, console and side tables to mirrors, lighting and accessories. All of our ranges and collections can be customised to create something truly unique. Using a wide array of metal finishes, colours, textures and tops, we can create a bespoke piece of furniture for your home, office or workplace. It is the creative heart of our business, where we transform and bring our ideas to life. Our highly skilled team of artisans, some of whom have worked for us for many years, utilise their wealth of knowledge and experience to create high-quality pieces of furniture. Their attention to detail ensures that we maintain the highest standards of production at all times. Almost everything we create is made using mild steel. This is because it is extremely durable and easy to maintain, ensuring that our pieces of furniture are enjoyed for generations to come. BESPOKE FURNITURE DESIGN As all of our pieces are made by hand, it means we can tailor and customise them to meet specific requirements including texture and finish. We also offer a made-to-measure service, so if you re looking for a particular height, width or depth, we can work using your measurements and requirements. 5 LET THERE BE LIGHT COLLECTION The Let There Be Light collection is a range of truly individual pieces, inspired by the creation of the universe - including the galaxies of stars, moons, planets, comets, rocks and dust. In keeping with our astrological theme we have created a range of specially devised textures: crater evoking the pitted surface of the moon, while a ripple finish captures the naturally weathered Martian dunes. We have also hand-applied metallic finishes, including old gold, antique silver, bronze and white bronze, to reflect the colours of the cosmos. The round and arc shapes used in some of our designs represent the form of the planets and the light created by their movements. In this brochure you will find our most popular pieces from the Let The Be Light collection, however, new items are being added all the time in-store and online.
