9 The details: The newest Felder planing machine leaves no wishes unfulfilled. The outstanding feature of the A 951L are the heavy, solidly ribbed planer tables with a total length of almost three meters. The length of the feeding surface planing table alone is an impressive 1800 mm, providing a safe support surface for even the biggest woodworking challenges. An impressive 510 mm planing width even satisfies large-size woodworking requirements. The innovative design of the Felder jointing fence allows the extremely space-saving positioning of the machine directly on the workshop wall without restricting the planing width. The jointing fence can be tilted to any angle from 90 to 45 degrees, with the planing fence ruler always remaining on the table level. The patented planer table adjustment system with precise depth of cut quick-adjustment and an easy to read scale ensures outstanding planing quality. The Felder surface planing protection is integrated into the machine chassis in a space-saving manner and can be folded down at two places for maximum mobility. The proven Felder system planer cutterblock with its 120 mm cutting circle guarantees a perfect planing pattern and the self-adjusting reversible knives save time and money when changing the blades. EDGES WITHOUT COMPROMISE Its thousandfold proven premilling unit in particular makes the G 360 stand out in the compact class: Two independent high-frequency motors with a speed of 12,000 revolutions per minute, equipped with diamond cutters, allow an unprecedented edge processing quality. 12 The details: On a mere 2.3 square meters, the new G 360 provides the latest edge processing technologies and innovative solutions for perfect results. Equipped with a twin-motored premilling unit with diamond cutters and two individually equipped with finish spaces, this space-saving wonder brings industrial edge processing quality to every workshop. Two counter rotating, usage-controlled premilling units with diamond-tipped spiral jointing cutters make for perfect edge processing before the gluing of the edges. Using the premilling unit, you achieve absolutely tear-free edges with laminated workpieces. The chain conveyor with adjustable pressure beam and a feed speed of 8 meters per minute ensures a perfect hold, maximum quietness and optimum pressure transfer. The pressing unit with two pressing rollers for constant contact pressure is mechanically pre-stressed and adjusted quickly and accurately for the respective edge material via the Felder Quick-Set system perfect gap formation is guaranteed. Quick-Set ensures the highest repeat accuracy in retrofitting work without time-consuming re-adjustment of the aggregates. The wear-resistant and high-precision linear guides of the end trimming saw unit make for superior cutting results. The flush trimming unit allows a quick and convenient switching between flush trimming, chamfering and radius milling work. All adjustments and settings can be efficiently and centrally administered using the centralised LCD control panel: glue temperature adjustment, automatic temperature reduction, activation of the aggregates, an odometer for total running metres of material used, maintenance information and plain text error messages all ensure excellent operating comfort and increased productivity. Edge material with a thickness of 0.4 to 3 millimeters is glued precisely and cleanly on workpieces that are at least 70 millimeters wide, 210 millimeters long and 10 to 45 millimeters thick. 17 PRESS INFORMATION Hall in Tirol, 05/2015 New FELDER suction solutions for every challenge CLEAN AIR FOR HEALTHY WORKSHOPS It is a known fact that wood dust accumulates in a woodworking company and that this has been classified as hazardous to health for some time now, yet this topic of exhaustion in particular is the subject of heated debates in the industry. According to an EU regulation coming into effect in the near future, enterprises with a filtering volume of up to 8,000 cubic meters of air per hour (instead of 6,000 m³/h up to now) will also be allowed to use wood dust tested clean air dust extractors in the future and thus save expensive, externally mounted equipment. In addition to the numerous rules and regulations, there is, however, also one established fact: Dust-free working is not only healthier, but also offers numerous opportunities for energy and cost savings in wood processing enterprises. An individually adapted extraction solution is thus indispensable for a healthy workplace. Felder offers wood dust tested clean air dust extractors for every need. The current extractors RL 125, RL 160 and RL 200 have been redesigned to offer their usual high flexibility and high performance in small spaces. 20 PRESS INFORMATION Hall in Tirol, 05/2015 So much more than a simple bandsaw The new FELDER FB 710 BIGGER, STRONGER AND HEAVIER THAN EVER BEFORE The new FB 710 with its 5.5 (or optionally 7.5) horsepower engine and 460 millimeters cutting height is one of the strongest and largest Felder bandsaws of its class to date. Together with the innovative X-life ceramic guides, the new bandsaw is already unmatched in its standard version as far as wear resistance and blade stability are concerned. 21 Long lasting precision through X-Life ceramic guides Ceramic guides guarantee excellent cutting results and maximum blade stability through four guide blocks directly adjacent to the blade. The smooth surface results in much less friction resistance.
