SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND DELIVER TO OWNER AFTER INSTALLATION To reduce the risk of death, personal injury or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards please read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels. Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions. Installation and service of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician. Maintenance of the luminaires should be performed by person(s) familiar with the luminaires construction and operation and any hazards involved. Regular fixture maintenance programs are recommended. It will occasionally be necessary to clean the outside of the refractor/lens. Frequency of cleaning will depend on ambient dirt level and minimum light output which is acceptable to user. Refractor/lens should be washed in a solution of warm water and any mild, non abrasive household detergent, rinsed with clean water and wiped dry. Should optical assembly become dirty on the inside, wipe refractor/lens and clean in above manner, replacing damaged gaskets as necessary. DO NOT INSTALL DAMAGED PRODUCT! This luminaire has been properly packed so that no parts should have been damaged during transit. Inspect to confirm. Any part damaged or broken during or after assembly should be replaced. If the lamp is marked (Hg) it contains Mercury. Follow all disposal laws. 8 Take the sixteen-inch cutouts and cut them down the middle. These eightinch insulation pieces can be inserted into the rail/insulation flashing for the skylight areas later in the install. 6. Using alignment block, install mounting brackets to exposed purlins using 1 concealer screws (w/o washers). Pic. 108 (Fall Hazard) Three screws are inserted through the top of the mounting bracket and into the top flange of the purlin. Pic. 116 Page 8 of 26

13 12. Attach Eave panel to purlins. Four 3 hex head self-tapping screws (w/washer) through ribs at the end of Eave panel. 13. Apply caulk to rail and Eave panel overlaps. Pic. 151 (Fall Hazard) Page 13 of 26

14 Apply caulk 15 along Eave panel rib and two beads across rib, valley and vertical wall approximately three and six inches from end of overlap. 14. Place both rails into position. Pic. 153 (Fall Hazard) Eave panel and rail overlap should measure 15 to accommodate end cap. Pic. 154 Page 14 of 26

17 Continue rail installation up to ridge panel position. 16. Measure ridge panel for fit. Pic. 257 (Fall Hazard) Field modify panel when required. The ridge panel can be shortened, but it must span two purlins. Mark the amount to be cut off from the top of the ridge panel. Pic. 2 Page 17 of 26

19 Use two 3" self-tapping hex head screws through ribs into purlins. Panel should extend approximately six inches under ridge covering. 18. Replace ridge cap or vent.
