32 Order Toll Free to 1889 Three Dollar Indian Princess Gold Coins Although never popular with the public during their 35 year production run; this series has always been a favorite with collectors. Except for 1874 & 1878, all the post Civil War dates had miniscule mintages. We have a nice selection to offer this month O. NGC. AU-53. This is the only New Orleans Three Dollar Gold Coin and has a mintage of just 24,000. Many of the later dates in this series have minuscule mintages but most the coins survived and are in high grade. This date saw heavy circulation resulting in a low survival rate of mostly circulated coins. Mint state coins are in fact quite rare. This example has only light wear and retains considerable mint luster.... # $ O. PCGS. XF-45. Outstanding for the grade and issue with strong detail and surfaces that are much more attractive than typically seen. The only O mint Three with a mintage of just 24, # $ PCGS. XF-45. CAC. Well detailed and nice for the grade # $ S. PCGS. XF-45. Strong detail with pleasing surfaces which retain a trace of mint luster. The final S mint $3 gold piece date except for the unique 1870-S. Just 7,000 were minted and they must have seen heavy circulation as the survival rate seems low with just 3 coins grading mint state at PCGS # $ PCGS. MS-61. Just 4,000 minted and an issue that apparently saw heavy circulation as there are probably less than 50 examples known in mint state. This particular coin is very pleasing with flashy orange-gold luster and a solid strike # $ PCGS. MS-62. A nice bold strike with flashy orange-gold luster over semi proof-like surfaces. Quite scarce with a mintage of just 2,600 and seldom-seen in mint state # $ PCGS. MS-62. 4,840 minted and a date that saw widespread circulation, making mint state examples scarce. This piece is well struck and problem-free with flashy orange-gold luster # $ PCGS. AU-58. Well struck with rich lustrous surfaces. Just the barest touch of rub (hard to detect) keeps this rarity out of a mint state holder. Just 2,500 minted and, to our surprise, this is the first one we ve handled in any grade since # $ PCGS. AU-55. Lustrous surfaces and strong detail. Just 3,500 minted # $ PCGS. MS-62. CAC. Super flashy with frosted devices and reflective surfaces. Outstanding for the grade and the only 62 CAC has approved. Only 12 coins have graded higher at PCGS. A very tough date with a mere 3,500 coins minted # $ PCGS. AU-58. CAC. Lustrous surfaces and a sharp strike. Very nearly mint state. Just 1,300 minted # $ NGC. MS-62. CAC. Bright frosty yellow-gold luster and a sharp strike. Outstanding eye appeal # $ PCGS. MS-61. Well struck with semi proof-like surfaces and flashy yellow-gold luster # $ PCGS. VF-25. Well-worn but pleasing and problem-free # $ PCGS. MS-64. Super flashy peach-gold luster and a great strike with very nice surfaces. The perfect type coin!.. # $ PCGS. MS-64+. CAC. Vibrant rose-gold luster blankets beautiful well-preserved surfaces on this gorgeous 1878 Three. The design elements are well defined and the eye appeal is outstanding # $ PCGS. MS-62. Just 3,000 minted. This example has a razorsharp strike and flashy semi proof-like surfaces. Very attractive and high-end for the grade # $ PCGS. MS-65. Extremely flashy heavy frost on the design features and orange-gold semi proof-like surfaces. The eye appeal is incredible! Only 3,000 minted # $ PCGS. MS-62. With a minuscule mintage of just 1,000; it s not surprising that most of the survivors are sharply struck & extremely flashy. Many look like proofs (36 proofs struck), but there are diagnostic features that clearly distinguish the regular strikes from proofs. This example has that razor sharp strike & mirrored surfaces with super flashy bright yellow-gold luster # $ PCGS. AU-58. Well struck with rich mint luster and just the barest touch of wear. A very attractive example of this scarce date. Only 1,500 pieces minted # $ PCGS. MS-62. A great looking coin for the grade with flashy bright gold luster and a sharp strike. A scarce date with a mintage of just 1,500 coins # $ PCGS. MS-63. Flashy orange-gold luster with a slight reddish tint. The strike is sharp & the surfaces are semi proof-like. This rare date had a mintage of just 1,000 coins # $ PCGS. AU-50. One of the lowest mintages in the series with a mere 801 coins struck. This is a pleasing example with strong detail and nice yellow-gold surfaces # $ PCGS. AU-58. A bold strike & super flashy surfaces give this scarce date Three the look of a nice mint state coin. There is the slightest trace of rub, thus the AU-58 grade. Only 1,000 minted # $ PCGS. MS-62. Very well struck with flashy mint luster and semi proof-like surfaces. Only 6,000 minted..... # $ PCGS. MS-62. From the final year of the series/denomination with a mintage of just 2,300. This example is sharply struck with super flashy semi proof-like surfaces # $ Red Books Hard Cover for $16.95 # Soft Cover for $14.95 # Friedberg Paper Money of the U.S. 20th Edition Hard Cover for $67.50 #
