17 Manipulate Layered Artwork Merging layers To consolidate multiple layers and sublayers: Select the layer Press [Ctrl](Win) or Ë (Mac) to select multiple layers Apply Merge Selection command in the Layers panel menu Condensing layers is process of dragging one layer into another Repositioned layer becomes sublayer of layer it was dragged into Chapter 5 17
