AS GRANTS OF THE ROMANIAN ACADEMY Under the authority of the Centre for European Social and Humanistic Projects within the Institute of Literary History and Theory G. Călinescu of the Romanian Academy: a) The European project E Tacit (Traini ng for a European Citizenship), running between 2007 and 2009, as part of the EACEA Life Long Learning European Commission Programme. b) The European project Europe Chantier. Training Trainers for Europe, in progress between 2007 and The project also involved a training course in Paris, France (March, 2008). Participating countries: France, Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. Research thematic content of the two projects: - Future of the European Union, and its fundamental values - Cross-cultural dialogue; knowledge about European history and culture - UE expansion: specific traits of the two new member states Romania and Bulgaria - Multilingualism 2. WITH EUROPEAN FINANCING Participant in the POSDRU Project no. 2/1.2/S/2 Development of an Operational System of Qualifications in Romanian Higher Education, co-financed by the European Social Fund as part of The Field Operational Programme Development of Human Resources , and by the Romanian Government. The Project was undertaken by The National Agency for Qualifications in Higher Education and Partnership with the Economic and Social Environment (ACPART), subordinated to the Ministry of Education, Research, the Youth and Sport. Objectives: modernising the system of qualifications in Romanian higher education; achieving compatibility with the European space, and correlation with labour market dynamics; developing and implementing the National Framework for (CNCIS), and correlating the former with already existent means in the educational and labour market fields; creating and implementing the National Record of Qualifications in Higher Education (RNCIS); performing a study on the correspondence between higher education qualifications and Romanian labour market dynamics.
