3 Biographical note CBS Reports is the catch phrase title used for documentaries by CBS News which aired as a constant series from 1959 to Many of the Boys, the CBS broadcast journalists most closely associated with during his years at the network, lead the CBS Reports broadcasts. Investigating current and controversial issues of their times whether it was on homosexuality, poverty, abortion, immigrant migration, divorce or birth control the CBS Reports program were designed to provide in-depth reporting on serious subjects important to the nation. Scope and content note This collection contains the transcripts for broadcasts from reporters that include Winston Burdett,, Bill Leonard,, Dan Rather,, Eric Sevareid,, Mike Wallace, and Walter Lippmann. Conversing with a wide range of individuals e.g. Yul Brynner, Everett Dirksen, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Barry Goldwater, Carl Sandburg, U.N. Ambassador Arthur J.
