These hot-pluggable optical odules consue low-power and are offered in the extended teperature range. When used with Intel Ethernet Network Adapters with SFP8 connectivity, these dual-rate optics can support both 5GbE and 0GbE, provide ore secure connections for virtualization, flexibility for LAN and SAN networking, and consistently reliable perforance. Fiber optics are also ore iune to harsh environental factors. The light used for data transission does not carry an electrical current so it cannot be ipacted by electrical transissions or radio frequency interference. And, light has a superior signal strength that is near ipervious to unwanted network taps. For copatibility assurance, Intel also offers an SFP8 twinaxial cable and a QSFP8 to SFP8 twinaxial breakout cable to eet your configuration needs.
