4 Installation and application notes Section I Physical characteristics 1.1 LED driver shall be installed inside an electrical enclosure 1.2 Wiring inside electrical enclosure shall comply with 600V/105 C rating or higher. Section II Performance 2.1 LED Driver tolerates sustained open circuit and short circuit output conditions without damage. 2.2 LED Driver maximum allowable case temperature is 80 C see product label for measurement location. 2.3 LED Driver reduces output power to LEDs if its case temperature (T case ) > 85 C. 2.4 LED Driver complies with the requirements of UL, CSA, FCC 47 subpart 15, CE, ENEC, CISPR 15 Ed 7.2, CQC. Note: Driver is only certified to be used with the controls co-located within the fixture.

6 Output voltage (Vdc) Operating window Three operating modes are provided, as shown in the chart below. Constant current mode. Driver outputs constant current according to the PWM setting level, with a tolerance of ± 5% of maximum output current (0.70 Adc), when output voltage (depends on LED load) is between 96 and 214 Vdc. Constant power mode. Driver maintains the total output power to 150 W ±5%, by reducing output current to corresponding values, when output voltage (depends on LED load) is higher than 214 Vdc and lower than 235 Vdc. The constant power mode provides the ability to operate LED loads with V f (forward voltage) slightly higher than regular value. Power cut back mode. Driver limits the output power to some lower values by reducing output current, when output voltage (depends on LED load) is higher than 235 Vdc. The power cut back mode allows output voltage to be higher than the maximum full-load-operating voltage (235 Vdc), so as to enable LED to start up in (e.g.) very cold ambient. Typical cold start-up voltage of 260 Vdc is provided thanks to this mode. Test condition: T case = 70 C. Blue solid: typical output V/I characteristics.
