Product Introduction Introduction H32 series GNSS RTK system is Hi-Target Surveying and Mapping innovation launched new generation of color LCD display high precision RTK system, module design according to various requirements. Those are stable UHF, GPRS and 3G communication functions. Easy to operate, we can change differential transmission module according to different situation and can seamlessly connect the mainstream manufacturers CORS network system. The H32 Series has a stable body, industrial IP67 design can be easily adapted to the harsh outdoor conditions; internal structure optimization design, can effectively prevent optical crosstalk, multi-path effects and got a powerful star search ability. Meanwhile the designed self-rectify function can automatically check the working status of all hardware and software of the receiver while working; Data collection controller can be connected with receiver mainframe via Bluetooth or cable; built-in high-capacity battery is suitable for long-time field work; static data can be stored in the built-in memory card of receiver and downloaded via USB port to your PC. H32 series provides powerful RTK solutions that can be widely applied to land surveying, marine surveys, water, land surveying, geological survey measurement, Hydrographic, industries and fields. 2

Tips: H32 GNSS RTK system has some more modules. This manual does not represent standard configuration. Users need to notify their own requirements for the different configuration due to different applications. And before using, we suggest users firstly to check whether the package box is damaged, and then open careful and check whether inner items matched with the order list of their own. If there are some missing or damaging cases exist for products and accessories, please contact with the local distributor or Hi-Target Foreign Trade Dep. Immediately. Last but not least, please carefully read manual before carrying, handling and using! Product Features The multi-satellite multi-system kernel to support one or more of the system in the GPS, COMPASS, GLONASS and GALILEO global satellite navigation system to navigation and positioning Built-in transmit-receive UHF, exchangeable Base and Rover. Mature network data transmission technology (GSM / GPRS) and traditional UHF data link technology both are free to switch to digital transmission mode. GSM data transmission technology can operating without distance limitations, especially for city, mountain and traditional radio signal blocking severe complex regional job, anti-interference ability Ultra-long-range external radio Design for CORS system, mature network data transmission technology, seamless access to the city Continuous Operational Reference System (CORS) 3

Product Introduction applications, a rover station can do RTK jobs, it is the best rover measurement terminal for CORS system Document management using the U disc storage technology, plug-and-play, direct drag download, do not need download software resolution, 1.4-inch LCD. The user can flexibly do instrument settings operation and instruments observation through the screen display. Fault self-diagnosis function Double battery capacity as 000mAh Integration host of industrial-grade design, environmental design for field construction waterproof apron, waterproof plug, reinforced body design. The highest performance in waterproof, dustproof and anti-drop Usage and Notes Although H32 receiver using chemical agents and impact resistance material, but still necessary taking care and maintenance is still required for such a precise instrument. Warning: The receiver must be used and stored in the specified temperature. More details please refer to Chapter 6: Technical Parameters / Environment. To ensure the quality of continuous tracking satellites and signals, surveying work should be in open air, while there should not any obstacle in space above 1 altitude angle; in order to reduce all kinds of electrical interference to the 4

GNSS satellite signals. Besides, there should no strong electrical interference around within about 200m range, such as the television tower, microwave stations, high voltage transmission line. Also, in order to avoid or reduce the occurrence of multi-path effect, stations should be away from terrain or geographical objects, which will strongly affect the electrical signal, such as high-rise buildings, large area water, etc.

Static Collecting and Data Transmitting Instruction H32 receiver can be used as dual-frequency static surveying instrument. You double click FN, when the satellite LED and status LED are on you press power button to fix. After the setting is done, the red status LED flashes once while collecting an epoch in a few seconds (depends on the setting of sampling interval). The collected static survey data is saved in the memory card in the main frame. The static survey data have to be downloaded to PC with post-processing software to be processed. The Procedure of H32 Static Survey 1. Locate the instrument on a control point, do centering and leveling. 2. Measure the height of instrument for three times, on condition that the difference of each measuring is less than 3mm and the final height of the instrument should be the average height. The height of instrument should be defined from the controlling point of base center to upper edge of marker line. The antenna radius of H32 receiver is meter; the height of phase center is 0.06 meter. 42

Instrument measure point height Figure Record point name, instrument S/N, instrument height, observing initiated time 4. Turn on the instrument and set the main frame as static surveying mode. The satellite LED flashing means the instrument is searching the satellites. The satellites are fixed once the satellite LED turns into constant on. Status LED flashes due to your collection interval set. The default collection interval is seconds, which means a epoch will be collected every second. In static mode, the receiving LED is off.. Turn off the instrument after the static survey is done and record the turn-off time. 6. Download and post-process data The specific static measurement job specification reference the "GBT Global Positioning System (GPS) measurement specifications. Note: Don t move the tribrach nor change the collecting set while the instrument is collecting data. 43

Download Data with Pan Drive Static Collecting and Data Transmitting V30 saves the files with pan drive in file management, i.e. you can download the files by drag-drop. The static survey data only can be downloaded but not to re-write the data. The data of V30 receiver ca n be downloaded in pan drive, you can use Y type data cable, connect one side to USB port of PC and the other side to the 8-core jack of main frame. After connected, RTK_V30 new disk symbol shows up in the PC, like pan drive, you can copy the according files directly. Download static files to modify the naming and antenna height steps: 1. Choose *.GNS static file and double click mouse; 2. Choose [GNS Modify program], pop-up File edit, we can edit point name and antenna height, for sure click [OK]. Figure -2 Note: The series port can t be downloaded in pan drive, but to delete static data of V30 receiver. 44

Choose the right PC port and click connect port 4

Static Collecting and Data Transmitting 3. Refresh list, the observation data files will be in the list 4. File name: 8 digit character: the first chart is replaced by underline; the second, third, and forth are the last two numbers of S/N number of the receiver from which the data is collected; the fifth, sixth, and seventh is the year-accumulated-date; the last chard is the collecting period of the day. Set up time: GNSS time. 6. Delete data: choose the data need to be deleted, click delete files. 7. Change collecting interval and satellite cutoff/elevation angle: input value and click set parameters. Click read parameters to view the original collecting interval and satellite cutoff angle. Simple procedures of data processing: 1. Run HGO data processing software package, create new and set the project, and then set the coordinate system of the control network. 2. Import data, modify the antenna height, antenna type and antenna height measuring way of each observing file. 3. Process all the base line. For those baselines whose ratio is less than 3 while the base line with big error, please observe the residual plot of the base line, and delete bad satellites or part of the observing data. Or set the sampling interval and elevation mask angle in static base line process setting. 4. Search repeated base line, closing error of base line, closing ring. If exceed, change the setting of the base line with big difference or delete satellites or delete part of the 46

observing data to re-process. If still error exceed, choose delete base line. And then re-search repeated base line, closing error of base line, closing ring until the closing error can match the tolerance.. Check network map, set adjustment parameters. 6. Input the coordinate of the known point, process network adjustment. 7. Open adjustment report in the processing report manual, print the surveying result. Please refer to HGO Data Processing Software Manual to find more details for data processing. 47
