The smallest form factor and miniature design makes this module suitable for integration in variety of consumer devices such as PDA, Personal Navigation Device, Digital Camera Vehicle Navigation, Telematics and other applications requiring Position, Velocity and Time. High Sensitivity MAT GPS technology provides unprecedented indoor and outdoor positioning capability including urban canyon and under thick foliage. 12 SBTRON 12 VDD(+3.3V DC power Input) This is the main DC power supply input pin. IT provides voltage to module. GND GND provides the ground. RX This is the main receiver channel and is used to receive software commands to the board from debug software or from user written software. TX This is the main transmitting channel and is used to output navigation and measurement data to debug software or user written software. RF_IN This pin receiver signal of GPS analog due to the RF characteristics of the signal the design has to certain criteria. The line on the PCB from the Antenna(or antenna connector) has to be a controlled impedance line (Microstrip at 50 Ω) V-BAT This is the battery backup input that powers the SRAM and RTC when main power is removed. Without an external backup battery, the TMP will execute a cold start after every power on. To achieve the faster start up offered by a hot or warm start, either a battery backup must be connected or a super cap installed. To maximize battery lifetime, the battery voltage should not exceed the supply voltage and should be between 1.3V and 4.8V, 25uA USB_DP, USB_DM A USB version 2.0 FS(Full Speed) interface can be used an altenative to the UART. The USB buffer memory size is 2kb (512x32). VDD_USB The VDD_USB pin supplied the USB Interface, independently from VDD_IO pin. eco Mode The eco Mode is Power saving functions, normal mode = port open eco mode = port GND power saving current about -10mA (45mA -> 35mA)
