5 What is Integral Film? Integral film ejects from the camera and develops before your eyes. Every pack includes: Dark slide that protects the film from light film sheet dark slide 10 self-developing film sheets battery pack Built-in battery pack that powers the camera 5

6 Integral Film There are six types of integral film: 600 Time Zero SX-70 (also known as TZ Film) Spectra 500 AutoFilm Pocket Film (regular & sticker) 600 and TZ films are the same size, but have different photographic characteristics. 6

13 What is Peel-Apart film? This is the film of choice for professional and technical users needing sharp, high quality images. 16 Peel-apart films are sold in packs and in boxes containing individual sheets. Pack Contains 8 or 10 sheets in a metal cartridge which is loaded into a camera or camera back. -3 1/4 x 3 3/8 in. 23 What is 35mm Film? A cartridge of light sensitive negative* The film requires development in either a photo lab or a Polaroid instant slide processor. *instant slide film is a positive transparency film film negative film cartridge 23

24 35mm: Conventional / Instant Conventional 35mm film is developed in a photo lab. Instant slide film is developed at home or in the office with Polaroid s inexpensive, easy-to-use 35mm AutoProcessor. 24

26 Applications Office personnel produce business presentations in-house using Polachrome HC slides. Amateur photographers enjoy the crisp, bright colors of 35mm color print film. Photographers use Polagraph, positive, instant slide film, taking advantage of its high contrast & bright images. 26

28 Expiration Date Polaroid films must be used before the expiration date stamped on the box. If the box is not available the age of the film can be determined from the line code on the back of the individual sheet of film. month year expiration date POLAROID D410851L month year 28

29 Warranty The Warranty is printed on the side of every box of film. Warranty: Polaroid will replace any film that is defective in manufacture, labeling or packaging, provided representative samples are returned to your dealer or to the nearest Polaroid office. This warranty excludes all consequential damages and does not apply to outdated film. 29

30 Caution There is also a Caution regarding the materials used in the film and directions to follow in case of accidental contact or exposure. This film uses a small amount of caustic paste. If any paste appears, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mouth and keep away from children and animals. If you get some paste on your skin, wipe it off immediately, then wash with water to avoid an alkali burn. If eye contact occurs, quickly wash the area with plenty of water and see a doctor. Do not cut or take apart pictures or battery. Do not burn battery or allow metal to touch its terminals. 30

31 Storage Every box gives instructions on how to store film for best results. Film Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate when possible. Do not freeze. For best results, have film between degrees Fahrenheit at time of use. In addition, the proper storage procedures are illustrated graphically on all cases of Polaroid film. Avoid exposure to radiation. Do not stack more than 16 cases high. Keep dry and avoid high humidity. Shield from direct sunlight/ avoid high temperatures. 31

32 Handling Polaroid Film Polaroid film requires careful handling. Here are some tips which will help customers avoid potential problems. Hold the film pack by its edges Lay the developing picture on a flat surface Waving a Polaroid picture DOES NOT speed up the development process AND may damage the photo. 32
