CONNECTING VISIONS TRC-50DX Digital Ready Retinal Camera
TRC-50DX Mydriatic Retinal Camera The Topcon TRC-50DX Retinal Camera incorporates advanced digital features that expand its capture capabilities to cover the most recent diagnostic procedures such as Fundus Auto Fluorescence and Indocyanine Green Angiography. An intuitive touch-screen control panel simplifies its use, allowing the operator to better concentrate on the patient. Ergonomically located adjustment knobs make the capture process effortless and comfortable. Additional internal mounts permit the use of custom filters for specific studies and testing, further enhancing the TRC-50DX s flexibility as a diagnostic tool. Main Features» Color fundus, red-free, and fluorescein (ICG and autoflourescence filters are available).» Can support a variety of photo devices, from film to super high resolution CCD cameras.» Easy-to-use touch-screen control panel.» 50 0, 35 0, and 20 0 angles of coverage.» Small pupil mode and aperture adjustment.» 21 levels of flash intensity.» Comfortable backlit panel for use in darkened environments.
Flexibility Adaptable Filter Mechanism Filter mechanisms for barrier, exciter and supplemental filters are accessible to allow filter changes for replacement, choice of procedures and research projects. Digital Transfer The Topcon TRC-50DX features several unique capabilities which enhance its use, increase convenience and reduce errors. When used in conjunction with the optional IMAGEnet Digital Capture System (sold separately), the angle selection (20, 35 and 50 ) as well as the left eye/right eye annotation transfer automatically to the patient s file during capture. Autofluorescence This diagnostic procedure allows imaging of the ocular fundus revealing the presence of lipofuscin in the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE). The TRC-50DX allows the addition of exciter and barrier Auto Fluorescence filters for use with digital monochromatic CCD cameras. The Auto Fluorescence feature is optional and requires an upgrade kit.
Convenience Stereo Image Capability Stereo imaging is simple and repeatable using the stereo locking lever. Two images representing a stereo pair are captured quickly and easily every time. Optimized Flash-Intensity Control The flash intensity control has 21 levels and can be used in full or half steps. Sensitive membrane buttons permit total control of image brightness and are illuminated for use in subdued light. Working Distance Dots Green alignment dots provide easy confirmation of working distance of the objective lens alignment and these alignment dots are helpful for pre-injection positioning in fluorescein angiography (FA), red-free and color fundus photography.
Ease of Use High and Wide Eyepiece Viewing The eyepiece of the TRC-50DX is designed for high and wide eye distance viewing making alignment and focusing fast, easy and comfortable. Immediate Access to Controls Designed with user convenience in mind, the TRC-50DX features an illuminated touch panel control that allows the user to change camera settings with a light touch. All adjustments are at the operator fingertips. Small Aperture Adjustment The SMALL APERTURE setting produces a sharper and easier to focus image because of enhanced depth-of-field. Small Pupil Mode The SMALL PUPIL mode permits imaging through pupils as small as 4.5mm, which is useful when the patient is not well dilated due to medication and other physiological reasons.
