5 Comfort Kits It is the continuing goal of St. John the Baptist Catholic School to provide basic emergency supplies to the students and staff in the event of an emergency. We ask that all students bring a Comfort Kit to school as part of their supplies for the 208/209 school year. Comfort Kits are your child s personal property and are intended to make any extended stay at school a little easier. Items should be sent in a one-gallon, Ziploc bag and clearly marked with your child s name and grade. Suggested Items for your Comfort Kit Non-perishable food items such as: Granola bars Bottled water Small canned juice Jerky Fruit roll-ups Raisins NO peanut butter please A yard-trash size garbage bag A letter from you and/or a picture from home These are suggested items. Please tailor your child s comfort kit to their likes, dislikes and any specific needs.
