We have been manufacturing paint brushes since 1928, and rollers and tools from the mid-sixties, in that time we have made it our mission to create tools that make decorating easier, more efficient and enjoyable. 4 PRODUCT INNOVATION THE NEW GENERATION IN INNOVATION - NO LOSS 3G Launched in 1992, the Harris No Loss was the first ever paint brush to guarantee 100% no bristle loss. Two decades later it is still the best! The new No Loss 3G has been improved with a blend of specially shaped synthetic filaments to ensure better paint pick up and an even smoother finish, the filaments are deeply set into the ferrule to guarantee no bristle loss for the lifetime of the brush. The two lengths of filaments mean that even greater accuracy can be achieved when cutting in around doors, light switches and windows. The lightweight, dual moulded, ergonomically shaped handle with thumb pad means the brush has never been so comfortable to use. No Loss 3G is available in a range of sizes to suit every job. 5 PRODUCT INNOVATION INNOVATION IN DECORATION - ID GEL ID Gel has been specially developed by engineers to provide a more comfortable experience for the decorator and to reduce fatigue and tension during periods of prolonged use. The ergonomic handle on the ID Gel Oval range features encapsulated gel bubbles which are built into each handle at strategic pressure points. This, along with the longer length, high performance synthetic filaments and oval shaped ferrule allows for exceptional cutting in control. ID Gel brushes are available in a range of sizes and are made from high quality synthetic filaments giving an extremely smooth finish with all paints and varnishes. ID Gel tools include stainless steel blades and acetate packaging for storage after use. The range includes; stripping knives, filling knives, triangle and combination shave hooks and a chisel knife. ID Gel roller frame is capable of taking any 9" x 1.5" roller sleeves. The unique 'grip tyre' mechanism prevents the sleeve from slipping during use. 6 PRODUCT INNOVATION ENVIRONMENTLY FRIENDLY INNOVATION More than 35 million paintbrushes are discarded in the UK every year. This includes over 24 tonnes of polypropylene, which can be toxic to the environment whilst eroding and can take up to 450 years to degrade. Down to earth has been developed to address this throwaway culture. The paint brush and roller handles are made from 65% cornstarch which is a natural and sustainable raw material, and in normal landfill conditions will biodegrade over a significantly shorter period of time than polypropylene. The paint brush head features 30% natural, biodegradable bristles and a steel ferrule that will also biodegrade. The roller tray is 100% recycled plastic and is recyclable after use. The roller fabric is made from recycled soft drinks bottles. All Down to earth packaging is made from recycled or biodegradable materials and printed using environmentally friendly print processes and inks. Down to earth has been specially designed to be environmentally friendly, and is manufactured in the UK, therefore reducing further its carbon footprint. The flat profile makes Down to earth ideal for painting doors, skirting boards, window ledges and other flat areas with all kinds of paint. Down to earth features a 65% cornstarch handle, which will biodegrade over a significantly shorter period of time than polypropylene. The head uses 30% natural, biodegradable bristles with a naturally biodegradable steel ferrule.
