2 Aramids are, above all, used for safety-related purposes. For tire cord, sails, bullet-proof vests and fire-protection asbestos substitutes, for example. Viscose is predominantly deployed in tire cord for high-speed and tires for heavy agricultural vehicles. Polyethylene is used in ballistics, in the manufacture of ropes and in medical applications. 5 WinOro WinOro is the automatic counterpart of the WinDuro. There are three different versions of the precision winder available. The WinOro-S comes as a oneand two-cop winder. The one-cop WinOro-M scores highly in terms of its efficiency: with its tube magazine and take-up cradle, up to two yarn transfers are possible without operating staff. WinTrax is the solution for the economic production of yarns of the very highest quality with a simultaneously perfect package build. 7 WinTape A completely new winder concept enters the market the WinTape. Rotated by 90 degrees, featuring just one chuck, but with short suction of the yarn during bobbin transfer, the fully-automatic winder offers two operating sides. However, it requires no additional operating staff on the contrary! WinTape not only saves space, it is also perfect for fully automating production processes. With tube magazine, yarn end fixation and parking position for full bobbins, it fulfills all the prerequisites for an optionally-installable conveyor belt.
