I have had the honor of serving with many of you in the House of Delegates, ABA Sections, the Fellows, the Board of Governors, and in local bars and bars of color. We have worked together to advance diversity initiatives, provide for court funding and access to justice initiatives, and advance the rule of law. We must continue to work to further the goals of the Association and provide the voice of the profession. Throughout my legal career, I have worked in government, small firm, international firm, and a Fortune 500 company. I have listened and learned from my colleagues. We must work together to address the issues of concern to lawyers and bar leaders across this nation including the future of the legal profession, under- and unemployed lawyers, court funding, a fair and impartial judiciary, diversity and inclusion in the profession, and membership in the organized bar. I look forward to working with you and exchanging ideas to make these goals a reality and to continue to provide value to our members and the profession.
