2 Moderator Skip Horne has a long and distinguished career in university administration, with an emphasis in legal education. He has extensive experience in admissions and financial aid, student affairs, career services, and diversity outreach from working at the University of Texas School of Law, Santa Clara University School of Law, and the University of San Diego School of Law. He recently concluded a year s assignment as Careers Consultant with Trinity College at the University of Melbourne in Australia. In addition, Skip spent five years as Global Recruiting Manager for Latham & Watkins LLP. He currently serves as the Senior Assistant Dean for External Relations at Santa Clara Law, a position he has held since returning to the Bay Area in Skip is well known nationally in law school placement and admissions circles. He has served as the President of NALP and the President of the National LGBT Bar Foundation, and has been active with the Bay Area Legal Recruitment Association and the Law School Admission Council. He received his MBA from the University of Virginia and his BSFS cum laude from Georgetown University. Skip is a current board member of ABA Legal Career Central. Faculty Roncevert (Ronce) Ganan Almond is Partner and Vice President at The Wicks Group, based in Washington, D.C. His practice is devoted to U.S. regulation and policy, international law, and government relations involving aviation, aerospace and national security matters. Ronce has written extensively on international relations for various publications, law journals, and books. He serves as an editor for the Air & Space Lawyer and contributor to The Diplomat. He also has experience with the U.S. political process having worked for congressional members, state parties and three presidential campaigns. Additionally, he has worked with the UN Special Court for Sierra Leone and participated in the Duke Geneva Institute for Transnational Law as well as the Joint Program in International Human Rights Law at Oxford University. Ronce holds a J.D., cum laude, and M.A. (Political Science) from Duke University and a B.A. (History), cum laude, from George Washington University. Renee Dopplick is an attorney in Washington, D.C., with a focus on technology, energy and environmental law, and international law. She serves as one of the appointed representatives from the American Bar Association to the United Nations and as Editor in Chief of International Law News published by the ABA Section of International Law. She is an American Bar Foundation Fellow. She serves on the Board of the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area. She received her law degree from Georgetown University, a Master of Science degree from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
