4 Description of your job. (Include keywords) From day one developing new products and markets to extend the scope of water related products and markets of the company. As a special occasion I started developing drinking water projects in Ghana with Dutch funding through commercial (soft)loans and ORET-grants. The first project, Winneba Water Works at Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana, was developed, designed, constructed and commissioned from It was done in good conjunction with Dutch project partners. The end of the projects result was the best performing drinking water plant in Ghana with a number of state of the art process solutions and equipment. I was responsible for the whole project in The Netherlands and Ghana. Therefore I have been travelling in and out to Ghana many times. In this period I have studied the Ghanaian culture and history and are really experienced in how the local population is thinking and feeling, personally and business wise. In the mean time I developed a second huge plant, Baifikrom Water Works. This project came into commence on 24 th of March From start I was temporary Project Manager. From the acting PM came on board I have been the company consultant up to the commissioning on 18 November In between my Ghanaian activities I have tried to develop drinkingwaste- and drainage water projects in Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Korea, Zimbabwe, and in some Balkan countries but they all have not been successful because of not getting the right funding facilities. Countries visited I also have completed a drinking water project in Sacele-Romania under a Senter/PSO facility. Any further information related to your job experience The past years I have been working as manager executing design and build projects as contractor. Most of the persons involved were employees from third parties (project partners) in The Netherlands. Because of executing Ghanaian projects as described before, I recruited local labour and specialists to assist from excavator, carpenter up to project- and financial manager. For PUM one mission has been executed in Makassar Indonesia, advising extension and maintenance of an industrial waste water treatment plant. Since early 2009 I joined the team of Kerkrentmeesters of the Protestants Church Netherlands-Sneek, responsible for management and maintenance of all owned properties.
