When playing wi only two players, a special set of rules are used. These are explained at e end of e rulebook. The game is played over twelve rounds. Each round has e same sequence: 1. DRAW GOD S FAVOR TOKENS: The first player draws 4 God s Favor tokens from e bag (3 tokens in a 3-player game). They en select and place one token on top of each Temple. The remaining token is returned to e bag. 2. LACE OFFER CARDS: Beginning wi e first player and following in a clockwise direction, all of e players 3

4 now place one of e Offering cards from eir hand, facedown, next to one of e Temples. If a Temple already has a card placed next to it, e next one is laid on top of e previous card. 3. RELACE, MOVE: Once all of e players have placed eir Offering cards, each player will have a chance to make ONE CHANGE to eir Offering card. Beginning wi e first player and following in a clockwise direction, each player can EITHER: a) RELACE e placed card wi anoer one from eir hand. b) MOVE e played card to a DIFFERENT Temple. In eier case, if a change is made, e player s new card must be placed on top of any cards already laid next to at Temple. Note: A player is not obliged to make is change. They can pass and leave eir card where it was originally played. 4. RECEIVING GOD S FAVOR TOKENS: All cards are turned face up. For each Temple, ere are ree possible results: a) If only one player placed an Offering card at e Temple, at player takes e God s Favor token. b) If multiple players placed Offering cards at e same Temple, e player who played e highest Offering card takes e God s Favor token. Note: In case of a tie, e player who placed eir card first (e card closest to e bottom of e pile) gets e token. c) If no players placed an Offering token next to a Temple, e God s Favor token is removed from e game. Note: layers place eir God s Favor tokens in front of em so everyone can see em. 5. These cards may score bonus points at e end of e game. (See e Bonus Scoring section of e rules.) 7. END OF A ROUND: All played cards (except low value winner cards) are removed from e game. Make a common discard pile (facedown) next to e playing area. The player to e left of e first player takes e bag. They will be e starting player for e next round.
