5 Instructions for MIA Players sit (or stand) in a circle. Shake two dice in a can. Your goal is to get one point each time you either roll a 12 Mia! or pretend to roll a 12. You are also trying to make others lose points by catching them in a lie. After you shake the dice in the can and look at your result, you keep your hand over it and do one of three things: 1. You tell the truth and say what number you have rolled. 2. You can lie and say you have rolled something higher. 3. You can lie and say you have rolled something lower. Whatever you say must be the same number or a higher number than what was previously announced by the player who handed you the can and dice. The next player must decide to do one of the following things BEFORE they take the can with the dice in it: 1. Call you a liar and demand to see your dice. If you have rolled equal to or higher than the number you have claimed, they lose a point. You lose a point if your number is lower than what you claim. 2. Believe you and roll the dice themselves to see if they can get higher than you. They then have the same options listed above, i.e., they can tell the truth or lie. 3. Believe you and then, WITHOUT LOOKING, pass the can with the dice in it to the next player. The result of the dice will be owned by the person who believed the original roller. If they are called out as a liar and are caught lying, they lose one point, not the person who originally rolled the dice and lied. Every time someone shouts out Mia, it is up to the person after them to decide to believe them or not. After Mia! has been declared, the next person can start off the new round at any number they want! Mr. William rewrote the instructions and then slightly tweaked the game found at
