3 Summary Following on from the visit to Alquezar in the Sierra de Guara to find Wallcreeper and Vultures and to Laguna Gallocanta south of Zaragoza, to watch the migration of Cranes, a short stay at the Ebro Delta was made. A great numbers of Egrets, Flamingos, Glossy Ibis and Purple Gallinule were seen. Wonderful autumn colours along the journey highlighted the magnificent scenery. The area was very good for birds of prey with more Griffon Vultures in the mountains, many Marsh and Hen Harriers, Merlins and Kestrals. Despite the Hunting and fishing activities, there seems a very well balance approach to maintain the nature of the area.
