And please allow me to present the Iran glass Industries situation very briefly to you: Traditional Glass production in Iran has a long history which can be trace back to years 2000BC. The first Industrial Production of flat glass commenced In 1939 with the capacity of 60tons per day and three production lines. At the moment, we are producing Roughly 2Million tons of glass annually in various types and colors, which makes Iran one of the major glass producers in the region. Iran with population of more than 75million with a young majority is located in the northern parts of the middle east stretching from The Caspian sea in the north neighboring Europe to Persian Gulf in the south reaching the Arabian Peninsula. with its rich reserves of oil, gas, and minerals and a surrounding market of 500million it has become a center for minerals related industries such as: Glass, Ceramics, cement. would like to thank. the president of for his kind invitation, 1
