54 INSTALLATION INFORMATION ROUGH OPENING CHART Dimensions listed at right are the most common door configurations with rough opening dimensions. Contact Clopay customer service for assistance. ( CLOPAY, ) OUTSWING UNITS For units with bumper-style sill, subtract 1" from prehung and rough opening for height. For brick-to-brick size, add 1/2" to all configurations. THRESHOLD On inswing units the threshold height is 1-3/8", which allows for approximately 1" opening clearance. If a spacer is needed under the sill to allow for added clearance, adjust the rough opening requirement accordingly. ADA ACCESSIBLE SILLS For units with ADA sills, subtract 3/4" from the prehung size. ADA sills can be used only on boxed units.
