3 Greetings About us IITP is the leading ICT hub of the fourth industrial revolution, driving growth with innovation centered around people IITP hopes to create a paradigm that can lead innovation growth for people through the creation of new ICT industries. The intelligent revolution based on connection with digital technology such as artificial intelligence, big data, and Internet of things is spreading. We support national so that creativity and imagination converge with ICT technologies and lead the fourth industrial revolution in this future. We are committed to supporting ICT throughout the years, from policy making, planning & evaluation, to expanding its results. We will lead technological innovation through people-oriented ICT and to solve social problems. The core of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is ICT. IITP is at the heart of ICT. IITP will partner with ICT and raise the value of an ICT that will lead the nation s growth of innovation. We are the future of Korean ICT The National ICT management functions were formerly distributed among five different institutions, which caused unnecessary confusion. To ensure the timely response to rapid changes in the ICT environment, IITP was established as the dedicated national ICT funding agency in 2014 as a successor to the functions of those five institutions. History Information and Communication Research Administration established as an affiliate of ETRI Opened Institute of Information Asessment(IITA) IITA separated to NIPA, KEIT, KIAT IITP established, received IITA s Role and Functions from NIPA, KEIT, KIAT Jae Beom Seok inaugurate as President of IITP Main Functions ICT Policy Research and ICT Development Analysis on Industry and Strategy and Planning Evaluating and Funding ICT ICT HRD Thank you.
