10 PROJECTS YES2 was succesfully launched on September 14th 2007 on FOTON M3 platform. YES2 experiment was succesfully deployed on September 25th 2007.
11 PROJECTS T-REX (Tether-Rocket Experiment was a sounding rocket mission on board a S-520 JAXA sounding rocket, participated by NASA MSFC. T-REX aimed to demonstrate the operation of an Electrodynamic tether probe in upper atmosphere. Emxys contributed in the design of the Power system stage and Battery system.
12 PROJECTS Propellantless Deorbiting of LEO satellites by Bare Electrodynamical tether 3-year project under FP-7 space Program (European Commission) Aimed at developing an efficient de-orbiting system based in E.D. Bare Tethers, with the goal of proposing a system to be carried onboard LEO satellites. EMXYS mission : To develop E.D. tether electric driving methods and hardware, support to coordination, microgravity tests. Partners: U.P.M (Coordinator, Spain),Univ. degli Studi di Padova, (Italy), ONERA (France), CSU (USA), EMXYS (Spain), DLR (Germany) and TECNALIA (Spain).
13 PROJECTS CLASS Contactless Angular Sensors ESA ARTES 5.1 contract Now progressing under ARTES 5.2 for EM Capacitive contactless angular position sensor for mechanisms like antenna pointing, SADAMS, 14 bits resolution (0,02º) at 1000º/s Featured at ESA 2015 Space mechanism congress.
14 PROJECTS HiTOS High Temperature Optical Fibre sensors High temperature monitoring system based on Chemically-Regenerated FBG sensors on optical fibre enabling : Serial multiplex. Up to 1000 ºC nominal Resolution : >1ºC (12pm) at 50ºC/sec The project approaches the complete system from interrogation system to packaging/interface technologies. ESA programs: ITI Phases A and B completed successfully. ECI Contract On-going (towards Pre-Q Model)

Redundant CAN network + I2C XCUBE (Extended CUBE Satellite) 20x20x30 15 Kg Platform Payload Power : 8 W average. Payload volume 170 x 130 x 80 mm 2kg /slot
16 PoliTech.1 UPV Technology in Space POLITECH.1 is conceived as an enabling mission for UPV to build up system-level capacities. It is the first NAOSat based mission. CURRENT UPV PAYLOADS: SCHOOL OF GEODESY+ TELECOM ENGINEERING. Earth Observation telescope camera. Ritchey-Crètien 3 F5 CMOS APS sensor resolution: 100m COMMUNICATIONS DEPT. Hi-DAC: C-band Down-link deployable patch-antenna iteam INSTITUTE. FiBOS : Tunable Optical-Fibre interrogation unit for FBG sensors.
17 PoliTech.1 UPV Technology in Space HiDAC includes a Half-Duplex C Band Transceiver with a Power Amplifying stage.
