5 OUR MISSION KYMIRA have been developing smart garment technologies for multi-vertical applications since The company focuses their own commercialisation efforts on the sportswear and medical industries for the greatest impact. As part of this mission, a consumer facing sportswear brand was established as a vessel to achieve initial revenue. Today KYMIRA Sport is the world s leading producer of infrared performance and recovery sportwear, with customers across the globe.

6 OUR MISSION At KYMIRA we believe that it isn t enough to simply be a sportswear brand. The technologies that we have developed have always been intended for medical applications. Through a hybrid innovation model we are able to do this sustainably as the company scales with minimal dilution to our shareholders.

7 KYMIRA s JOURNEY May July 2017: KYMIRA scales the team to bring more resources to bear on business development and marketing Aug 2016: KYMIRA s success and innovation is recognised by Innovate UK who pledge 140,000 of funding for KYMIRA s e-textile research Future 2010: Tim starts a degree at University that would let him further his research into IR and its applications : Founder and CEO Tim is inspired by a NASA Research paper documenting the use of IR in space /17: KYMIRA closes a pre-seed round led by Henley Business Angels : KYMIRA establishes a reputation for it s innovative business model, technology and KYMIRA Sport shows strong year on year growth 2013: Tim is looking for ways he can commercialise his IR research in the medical field with limited resources KYMIRA Sport is born on 16/04/2013

10 INFRARED TECH: KYMIRA s fabrics harness wasted energy from the body and convert it into specific frequencies within the infrared spectrum. This infrared is then re-emitted where it penetrates 4cm on average into soft tissue and causes a number of biological responses. These responses have been proven to enhance performance and accelerate recovery in athletes, as well as various medical benefits.

This continues into 2017, where the board have chosen to accelerate R&D further, and secure multiple IP filings. From 2018 onwards, KYMIRA Sport s growth is expected to outpace the increasing R&D costs.

16 ELITE LIFESTYLE TREATMENT KYMIRA s Elite customers range from Olympic gold medallists through to serious weekend athletes. One of our strongest growth areas have been in selling to professional, semi professional and amateur teams/clubs. The largest section of the sportswear market is made up of lifestyle athletes that are training to stay fit rather than for specific competition goals. KYMIRA Sport has seen strong growth in this vertical, and expect to see stronger growth still after the introduction of more colourful designs. CUSTOMER SEGMENTS KYMIRA Sport has partnered with a number of healthcare clinics. Originally for injury prevention and rehabilitation. These partnerships have since grown to the treatment of chronic disorders as well.

20 THE TEAM Tim Brownstone Founder and CEO Tim has a background in Photobiology and Animal Science. He is responsible for KYMIRA s success with their performance sports products due to his dedication and drive, academic knowledge and business expertise. Philip Kunovski - CTO Phil is an electrical engineer who previously launched his own successful start-up and has now joined KYMIRA, leading the R&D into wearables. Aston Lincoln Marketing and Communications Aston has joined KYMIRA as an intern in 2014 and has become an integral part of the team. With a dual background in IT and then a second career in Marketing and PR Strategy, Aston brings his combined experiences to KYMIRA s benefit.

21 THE TEAM CONTINUED Tom Bond BD Exec Tom is an ex Team GB rower and chemist who originally signed with KYMIRA as an agent to boost institutional sales in London. He has now come on full time and as a KYMIRA user himself, has been a great addition to the growing KYMIRA team. Ellie Jones BD Exec Ellie is a Mathematician and ex GB Gymnast. Alongside guest coaching for Team GB, she now works with KYMIRA to bring her experience as an international athlete to KYMIRA s Sales team. Hester Watson BD Exec Hester joins KYMIRA after starting her career in corporate purchasing, export management and international business development. As a keen sportswoman, a career move to KYMIRA was a natural move as she can combine both career and passion.

22 THE TEAM CONTINUED SHIFT Performance US main Agent SHIFT are highly regarded in the professional sporting space as leaders in sports technologies and performance optimisation. KYMIRA has signed with them to break into this highly competitive market in the US. Nigel Clarkson MENA main Agent/Distributor Nigel Started as a KYMIRA customer and loved the products so much that he wanted to bring them to the Middle East! Based from Saudi Arabia, Nigel s primary focuses are on institutional B2B sales.

23 The Team Continued Steve Samuels R&D Steve brings a broad skill set to KYMIRA s R&D team from hardware to AI. With several years commercial research under his belt, Steve joined KYMIRA s R&D team in October. Graham Kitteridge R&D With a broad knowledge, and background in projects varying from defence to rapid prototyping, Graham joined KYMIRA s R&D team in October. Rich Hughes R&D Rich has worked as an R&D engineer in areas as varied as transport, defence and space systems. He has a keen interest in M2M communication and brings his varied skills to KYMIRA s R&D team.

24 THE TEAM CONTINUED Advanced e-textiles R&D Sub Contractor ETL R&D Sub Contractor KYMIRA Interns Advanced e-textiles have been identified as one of the UK s foremost e- textile experts. They have joined the KYMIRA s R&D to provide general textiles knowhow and support in physical prototyping. ETL are the UK s leading thermoelectric generator specialists. They are providing a team of 5 to work with KYMIRA on the development of our energy harvesting e- textiles. We have been fortunate enough to find a team of fantastic interns who have worked with us this year. Some of which are still working with us part time, others have an open invite to return for paid positions once they graduate or over the holidays.
