John Hanna, Director, GDP Global A UK national, John has over 20 years experience in economic development at strategy and senior operational level. He specialises in economic development, investment promotion and inward investment strategies: defining and analysing target markets, clarifying and refining core objectives and operational plans. Christopher Clark, Managing Director, FTI Consulting Christopher Clark has more than 20 years agency experience in corporate and b2b communications, with an emphasis on protecting and building the reputation of global organisations and brands. He advises a variety of international organisations, both private and public sector, in such matters as CEO counsel, strategic communications planning, programme management & implementation. He has particular experience in industrial sector; destination marketing & inward investment and travel/aerospace sector. Christopher has advised international companies and organisations including ABN AMRO; Bombardier; Cable & Wireless; Delta Air Lines; DSG plc; FedEx; Hilton; Invest Victoria; McLaren Group; Northern Rock; One North East; Scottish Development International; South African Tourism; Tata Group, Dubai Commerce & Tourism; Turkish Tourism; Welsh Assembly Government. Andrew Fraser International Senior Advisor Andrew Fraser has been Senior Adviser to Mitsubishi Corporation (Europe, Middle East and Africa) since October 2000. He also sits on the Advisory Board of Financial Dynamics International, and has advised the UNDP and a number of Governments with regard to Economic Development and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). For the six years (July 1994 September 2000) Andrew served as Chief Executive of Invest UK, during which time the stock of UK inward investment more than doubled. Prior to joining Invest UK, Andrew enjoyed an extensive career in international advertising as Executive Vice President and Director of Business Development for Saatchi and Saatchi Worldwide, and latterly as CEO for Europe for Dentsu Company. Dan Silverman Vice President, ROI Research on Investment Dan is a noted industry figure in site selection and investment attraction, with more than 12 years direct experience in investment promotion. He and his team actively support IPAs to present their locations to secure FDI. Dan is an active member with organizations such as the International Economic Development Council, the Economic Development Association of Canada and CoreNet, to name a few. He also is an active member of the Industrial Asset Management Council, and holds position on numerous IAMC committees including co-chairing the Canadian Committee under the umbrella of the International Committee. Dan is a graduate of Montréal s Concordia University, the University of Oklahoma s Economic Development Institute and is a Certified Economic Developer Certificate (CEcD). 8
