Types of Leather Enhanced Grain Enhanced grain leather is made from the desirable uppermost layer of the hide. These products are lightly buffed to improve the surface and create a more uniform appearance. A simulated grain pattern is applied for a natural look with an increased cutting yield. Full Grain Full grain products are made from the desirable uppermost layer of the hide and maintain the natural grain pattern. Because these hides do not receive any buffing or other altering processes, they require the highest quality raw materials. Pure Aniline Our pure aniline products are all European tanned, aniline dyed, full grain leather. These products maintain the natural grain and receive all of their color from the aniline dyes only. They do not have any pigmented finishes. Some do have a light wax finish, while others have no finish at all. Pure anilines will show signs of wear and will develop a rich patina over time. Because they age gracefully and highlight the true beauty of genuine leather, these products are recommended for all upholstery applications. Those who fully understand the inherent characteristics of pure anilines recognize the exceptional character of the leather and appreciate the natural splendor. All colors of our pure aniline products are GREENGUARD Certified. Nubuck Nubuck is created using the desirable uppermost layer of the hide, unlike suede which is made from the lower, smaller layers or splits of the hide. Nubuck provides superior fiber structure and strength, as well as larger cutting yields. The surface is buffed to create a soft nap. Semi-Aniline Our semi-aniline products are treated during the tanning process to provide flame, water, and stain resistance, as well as UV and anti-bacterial protection. This Italian leather has a beautiful subtle enhanced grain that provides excellent cutting yields and high value. Berkshire may be used for all upholstery applications, as it offers reliable durability with an anti-bacterial finish. Capelli Specialty Capelli Specialty are the masterpieces of the Capelli family. These hair hides feature deep, rich, solid colors, as well as artistic patterns. The creative patterns are designed using unconventional techniques such as laser-cutting and metallic foiling. Glazed is recommended for all upholstery applications. Mystique is a labor of love. It is passionately crafted. Mystique begins with European bull hide, which provides a strong, dense fiber structure. These durable hides are hand-tipped to create a unique, dual-tone texture. A darker color is applied to a lighter tone base to add depth of color. Each hide is a masterpiece with variations in shading from hide to hide and even within a hide. Mystique provides excellent durability and resistance to wear and is recommended for all upholstery applications. Journey Mystique Croco Journey is an adventure to be experienced firsthand. Each hide of this Italian, full grain, pure aniline leather develops a unique look that evolves as it is handled. Beautiful variations of light and dark areas come to life on the high gloss wax finish. The name pays tribute to the color migration that occurs throughout each hide as it is pulled or stretched. Natural markings and signs of wear will be evident on this authentic leather. Relish Journey as well as its final destination for generations. The same passion used to make Mystique spills over into the creation of Mystique Croco. Prior to the hand-tipping process, these strong bull hides are embossed with a crocodile pattern. The raised areas of the pattern are then hand-tipped to highlight the beautiful texture. Mystique Croco is available in both whole and half hide sizes and offers excellent durability. It is recommended for all upholstery applications. Kenya Native Kenya is nubuck leather. Its soft nap has an accentuated grain for added texture. While it has light surface protection to provide some water and stain resistance, it is ideal for moderate to low traffic areas. Nubuck Care Kits with cleaner and protector are recommended to maintain the leather. Native is adventurous, nature-inspired leather that is reminiscent of the past. These Italian, full grain hides are hand-buffed to create a rugged texture with a mottled appearance and beautiful depth of color. The matte surface of this natural, naked leather is unprotected and will highlight signs of wear with use. Native is recommended for all upholstery applications, as it embraces what life has to offer, improves with age, and develops a rich patina over time. Luxianna Newport Club Luxianna is sophisticated leather with a sleek, elegant look, a smooth tight grain, and a high sheen surface. Pearlessence is Italian full grain leather with a smooth grain and beautiful pearl finish, giving each hide a refined shimmer. Available in both soft hues and more bold metallic colors, Pearlessence is suitable for all upholstery applications. Sierra Sierra is the epitome of buttery, soft leather. It is the ultimate Italian full grain, pure aniline with a subtle satin sheen. Sierra has an irresistible hand that provides extreme comfort. It represents leather in its purest form with very little surface protection. Nature s signature is evident on every hide, revealing the true beauty of genuine leather. Over time, Sierra will develop a rich patina and age to perfection. Resilience As the name suggests, Resilience is resilient. It is Italian full grain, pure aniline leather with additional built-in protection. The artful variations in shading give Resilience the look and feel of pure comfort. Resilience is made to be cherished for generations, as it will develop a rich patina over time and age to perfection. Torino Torino has a rich hand and a welcoming texture with a durable, antibacterial and waterproof finish. The uniform, pebble grain on this fullbodied Italian leather provides consistency and superior cutting yields with little waste. Torino is recommended for all upholstery applications, especially high traffic areas. Shagarrett Garrett Leather has reinvented shagreen as Shagarrett. Now you have full hides with no plate lines to use to wrap furniture, clad walls, or for upholstery. This Italian leather features a beautiful two-tone texture with reverse tipping, where the darker color appears in the valleys of the pattern rather than on the tips. Shagarrett has a durable finish and is recommended for all upholstery applications. Vintage Vintage is rich, Italian, full grain leather with beautiful depth of color and subtle mottled appearance. This leather has a timeless look with a gorgeous moderate sheen that is ideal for both traditional and contemporary interiors. Vintage will age beautifully and develop a rich patina. It is a leather to be treasured as it shows signs of love and use with pride, emphasizing nature s splendor. Sheepskin Our genuine, plush Sheepskin provides ultimate seating comfort; warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Sheepskin is used for pilot seats, automotive seats, and as throw rugs in finer residences. The fleece is straight, also called ironed, unclipped, with a length of approximately ¾. Many colors are available in natural curly fleece as well. Sheepskin averages 9 square feet and is sold by the whole skin. Garrett Wovens Award-winning Garrett Wovens are an industry leader. Garrett Wovens begin with 100% vegetable tanned, Italian, full grain leather, which provides a structural integrity that is not possible with standard, soft upholstery leather. Each pattern is backed with cotton fabric for extra stability. All Garrett Wovens are sold in 1 /2-yard increments on a 54-inch wide roll, providing for the industry s widest cutting allowance for applications such as wallcoverings. 17 18

Wall Panels We offer hundreds of wallcovering options with Wall Panels. Any Garrett Leather color, including Capelli hair hides and Sheepskin, may be specified for Wall Panels in a variety of shapes and sizes. Wall Panels are handcrafted on a per order basis at our corporate headquarters. Each panel begins with ½ inch thick routed MDF substrate. Panels may be made flat or padded and are fully wrapped with leather and secured with no seams on the corners or edges. Stitching is optional on flat Wall Panels only. Woven Panels Woven Panels are made with any pattern of Garrett Wovens, including all leather or leather and fabric. Garrett Wovens are fully wrapped and secured around ½ inch thick routed MDF with no seams on the edges or corners. Woven Panels may be made flat or padded in a variety of shapes and sizes. Woven Panels are handcrafted in the U.S.A. Wall Tiles Wall Tiles are custom handcrafted in the U.S.A. with any Garrett Leather color adhered to the surface of recycled leather backing. Each tile is approximately 1 / 8 inch thick, depending on the type of leather selected. Decorative stitching is optional. Installation Tools We offer a full range of installation tools for Wall Panels, Wall Tiles, and Woven Panels. With innovative vision, design excellence, and meticulous attention to detail, Harcourt London fabricates 3 beautiful styles of wall panels and tiles exclusively for Garrett Leather. Inspired by the architecture of the buildings and bridges of Harcourt s home city of London, Cast Panels combine bold lines with shadow play and luxurious leather. Cast Panels highlight beautiful designs on sturdy MDF substrate. All installation tools and detailed instructions are included with each order. Alpine Tiles Alpine Tiles are a modern take on the rugged peaks of the Italian Alps. Each tile overlaps for a beautiful 3D pattern. Alpine Tiles consist of Garrett leather adhered to a fire-rated PVC backer. Bespoke designs are possible with over 600 colors from which to select and optional decorative stitching. All installation tools and detailed instructions are included with each order. Pitched Panels Drawing from the design of skyscrapers, Pitched Panels evoke a modern luxury when finished in Italian leather. All Pitched Panels are made with a strong aluminum substrate wrapped in almost any Garrett Leather color. Pitched Panels are lightweight and fireproof to meet industry flammability requirements. Each piece is handcrafted in the U.S.A. and wrapped with our leather, giving you hundreds of color options from which to choose. All Accessories are made on a custom order basis. Lead time is 8 to 10 weeks. Tex 70 Thread Tex 70 bonded nylon thread is made to match almost every Garrett Leather color and is sold in 4-ounce spools. Matching G bobbins are sold by the gross (144 bobbins). Tex 70 Thread meets industry standard UV protection of 95 hours. Braided Welt Braided Welt is made from the same full grain, vegetable tanned leather found in Garrett Wovens. A cotton fabric sewing allowance is intertwined with the leather, providing easy application, superior strength, and durability. Braided Welt is sold by the yard and is available in 7 rich colors. Tex 210 Thread Heavier Tex 210 bonded nylon thread is available in 8-ounce spools. Tex 210 Thread meets industry standard UV protection of 95 hours. Care Products Proper care and cleaning are critical to the longevity of leather. We offer a variety of care products, including Leather Cleaning Kit, Mild Cleanser, Ink Remover, Nubuck Care Kit, and 3-in-1 Leather Wipes to keep your leather looking and feeling as good as new. Tubular Wovens Tubular Wovens bestow a sophisticated look with no unsightly seams. This innovative product is fabricated in Italy with full grain, vegetable tanned leather and is made to easily slide over any tubular shaped fixture such as handrailings, door handles, or curtain rods. Choose from 4 colors, 3 sizes, and 2 patterns. All Tubular Wovens are sold by the yard and are exclusive to Garrett Leather. Leather Marking Pens Leather Marking Pens are non-toxic and safe to use on most of our products. Manufacturers and upholsterers use Leather Marking Pens to trace patterns and make other notations on leather before cutting into the hide. All marks are easily removed with a dry cloth. Welt Cord Welt may be used as trim around furniture, cushions, pillows, and more. We offer 2 sizes to save time and money. Welt is fabricated at corporate headquarters in any Garrett Leather color. Simply specify the leather and color of choice. 25 26
Services Custom Strike-Offs We have an in-house color lab where technicians blend dye colors and finishes to create custom samples specifically formulated to match client specifications. Upon approval, strikeoffs are sent to the tannery for full dyelot production. Lead times vary, depending on specifications. Impress Impress provides the ultimate selection of pattern and color. Impress is produced using a combination of heat and pressure to emboss different types of patterns on most types of leather. Once the pattern is selected, choose a leather color. Create thousands of combinations with a total of 34 patterns and hundreds of colors. All Impress orders are sold in half hide increments with a 2-week lead-time. Flameproofing Many of our products are treated during the tanning process to meet industry flammability requirements. Products that are not treated during the tanning process may be treated at our corporate headquarters at no additional charge. Certification is available upon request. Custom Embossing Have your corporate logo or any custom design embossed on leather. Send your artwork with actual dimensions to us for a price quote. A custom mold will be made and a sample will be provided for a small fee. Orders will be filled upon final approval of sample. Please allow 3 weeks for a sample and another 3 weeks for production. Laser Embossing Laser embossing creates beautiful patterns on leather using computerized lasers. Send your artwork with actual dimensions to us for a price quote. Upon request, a sample with your design will be provided for a small fee. Once approved, your order will begin production. Please allow 3 weeks for delivery. Perforating Perforating may be done on most of our leather collections. After selecting a pattern, simply specify the leather product and color of your choice. All perforating is done in half hide increments with a 2-week leadtime. Cutting your patterns prior to perforating is recommended. Caiman Embossing Caiman is an exotic, large scale reptile pattern that is deeply embossed on any Distressed or Vintage color. Caiman hides are embossed in Italy and are available in both whole and half hide sizes. Color variations and natural markings are inherent characteristics of the leather. The hides will darken with use and develop a rich patina over time. Skiving Skiving is a method used to reduce the thickness of leather hides. Hides may be skived to any thickness down to 0.7 mm. Most of our products may be skived. All skiving is done in half hide increments with a 2-week lead time. Cut-to-Pattern We have one of the most technologically advanced, computerized cutting systems in the industry. You receive precise patterns cut to your exact specifications.
