Repeat to make Rows Three, ive, Seven, Nine and leven. 8. Sew (3) lock Twos, (4) assorted 5 ½ squares and () lock Ones together to make Row Two. Repeat to make Rows Six and Ten. 9. Sew (3) lock Ones, (4) assorted 5 ½ squares and () lock Twos together to make Row our. Repeat to make Row ight. 0. Sew the eleven rows together in numerical order to make the enter lock.. Sew () x 55 ½ abric strip to each side of the enter lock. Sew () x 48 ½ abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the enter lock.. enter () 5 ¼ x 7 abric strip on one side of the enter lock and pin in place. Start sewing the strip a ¼ from the top edge of the block and stop a ¼ from the bottom edge. O NOT TRM T XSS. Repeat with the opposite side. 3. Repeat Step to sew () 5 ¼ x 6 abric strip to the top and to the bottom of the enter lock, making sure to stop and start ¼ away from each end of the block. To miter each corner, fold the enter lock on a diagonal, wrong side together. This should line up the strips from adjacent sides (ig. 7). 4. Starting at the sewn seam (represented by the arrow in igure 7), draw a 45-degree line to the edge of the fabric. Sew on the drawn line. Trim the excess fabric leaving a ¼ seam.
