She has found drawing creatures to be fun and simple. The author gives tips not only on the process of drawing but also how best to put the book to use, various sketching tips and the types of drawing materials a potential artist needs. Very helpful book that took my drawing skills from utterly terrible to pretty decent! I gave my self a shot for this one as I am also a anime fan way back, and my piece is not bad. The author slowly and patiently goes through each stage of drawing manga and you simply replicate that the author has shown. Highly recommend it.
