Failure to comply with these rules may result in entry disqualification of the entry. Read instructions carefully: 1. Entry must be listed in the Exhibitor Handbook. 2. Entry created by exhibitor. 3. Pin name on paper inside garment. 4. Judges will turn garments inside out to check seams and for loose threads. Please iron garment. 5. Entries should be created after 2016 Fair. 6. Entries stained or unsanitary will not be accepted. 7. Exhibits consisting of one or more pieces must be mounted or securely fastened together. Failure to comply may result in disqualification. 8. The Maricopa County Fair is not responsible for loss or damage to any exhibit. 9. The Maricopa County Fair and/or the Home Arts- Sewing and Fiber Arts Department are not responsible for items left after release date. 10. Premiums will be mailed, to the address on the entry form, after the Fair. 11. The Arizona Wool Producers Auxiliary will sponsor 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place awards at the Maricopa County Fair Fashion Show for the Child, Youth, and Open Divisions. Prizes, in the form of Pendleton wool yardage, will be awarded by Rali Burleson, Director, Arizona Make It With Wool. The Fashion Show will showcase Home Arts- Sewing and Fiber Arts clothing entries Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2:00pm. All youth, ages 5-18 will be encouraged to model a garment they made whether or not they got a ribbon. Contestants will model one garment. Please attach a 5x7 card to garment being presented, listing the seamstress and model s name along with a description of the garment.
