Meso X1 CARE AND CLEANING 930-ov01 Congratulations on choosing Ledalite Meso X 1. Here are a few suggestions for keeping your system in top shape The undersides of the acrylic side panels and spine have a microscopic surface pattern that is highly sensitive to finger marks. Handle by ends only When handling, wear cotton gloves and handle the fixtures by the ends only. If finger marks do get on the acrylic surfaces, remove them immediately as the volatile oils in the finger marks will degrade the materials. (See cleaning instructions below) Periodic dusting inside the top of the luminaire is important to maintain light output. Use a feather duster or soft, lint-free cloth. From time to time a more thorough cleaning is required to remove any build-up of dust and airborn grease. (See cleaning instructions below) MesoOptics surfaces. Avoid finger marking. Follow cleaning instructions below. Lamp replacement is easy. Access is from above the fixture. T5 HO High Output lamps are required. NOTE: Lamps contain mercury: please dispose of them in accordance with applicable disposal laws. See www.lamprecycle.org CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Using a solution of warm water and a mild, lemon liquid detergent (such as Sunlight) and a soft damp cloth, wipe along the length of the fixture, going with the microscopic grain of the MesoOptics material. This will remove any dust or dirt that has collected and will help avoid streaking. 2. Rinse out cloth and repeat. 3. Using a different clean, soft cloth, rinse with fresh warm water again wiping along the length of the fixture. Repeat rinse to remove all traces of detergent. 4. Take a dry cloth and wipe the surface along the length of the fixture until dry to avoid streaking. CAUTIONS! USE ONLY MILD, LEMON LIQUID DETERGENTS, SUCH AS SUNLIGHT. AVOID DETERGENTS WITH HAND SOFTENERS OR ANTI-BACTERIAL AGENTS. DO NOT USE WINDEX OR OTHER GLASS CLEANERS. DO NOT USE ACRYLIC CLEANING POLISHES.
