Overview Sun Yeh linear valve actuators provide with thrust from 250 to 2000 Kgs (551 ~ 4410 lbs). All models are equipped with modulating controllers and travel for globe valve (max. stroke 100 mm/3.94 inch), gate valve and linear travel device (max. stroke 100 mm/3.94 inch). It can be applied to HVAC and industrial use, especially for the steam and high temperature employments. Feature Self-locking drive system to hold in last position and prevent back driving up to thrust rating. Increased duty cycle by using DC motor provides high starting frequency. (1500 starts per hour.) External stem position indicator provides accurate valve positioning. Low-power consumption. NEMA 4X dry-powder coated aluminum alloy cover provides good weather resistance, water and dust-proof. Two-step over-thrust protection for modulating actuator. Manual operation can be applied in case of power failure. Built-in thermal protection prevents motor burning out. One-year warranty. 1

Important Notices! Operating by hand-wheel a. The actuators are supplied with the hand-wheel, note that under no circumstances should any additional lever device such as a wheel key or wrench be applied to hand-wheel in order to develop more force when closing or opening the valve. This may cause damage to the valve and/or actuator. b. Instruction for hand-wheel Press the hand wheel toward the actuator before using hand wheel. After users press the hand-wheel to operate manually, pull it out, so the linear actuator can be operated by means of power again. If users don t pull it out completely the linear actuator won t operate by power. a. Check for correct voltage prior to wiring. b. Turn power off before servicing or for maintenance purpose. c. Use sealant to seal conduit connections after wiring to prevent dusting or water contamination. d. The angle of electrical actuator installation must be between 0~180 degree. Do not install upside down or below the horizontal. e. Not intended for vacuum spaces and avoid installing near explosive atmospheres. f. Actuator should be placed at clean and dry place for storage, and protected with outer carton from being affected by great temperature difference or serious vibration. g. To avoid functional failure caused by statics, do not touch any components on the PCB with metal tools or bare hands. h. Please connect the ground wire to PE inside the electrical actuator. i. When more than one electrical actuator needs to be operated simultaneously, please connect with the individual cables or install extra relays. j. Running time and rest time should be based on the standard of 1500 stands per hour or the motor may overheat and stop running. k. The warranty period is one year. 2
