The West Palm Beach Mancuso Quilt Show was the first week of January and I was fortunate to be able to attend with another guild member. I hope everyone takes the opportunity to attend as many shows as possible this year. Don t just attend, enter your quilts. It s great fun to see your quilt hanging at a show and hear all the wonderful comments from other show attendees. It s even more fun to see your friends win ribbons and even better see a ribbon on your quilt. If you have a quilt hanging in a show, please be sure to tell our newsletter editor; and, if you receive a ribbon be sure to share a photo of the quilt with the ribbon with our web master! While I am enjoying warm weather, I am taking some time to do a little piecing to add to my stash of unquilted tops. I have been playing with EQ7 and am having great fun designing patterns. For those of you who have not tried this software it is fun to see the different layout combinations of various fabric colors. It is a great tool for planning your next quilt. I am looking forward to all the great workshops and lectures that Debra has lined up for 2015! HAPPY QUILTING!
