Happy Baking! 1. Line a muffin pan with cupcake cases 2. Finely crush up the Shredded Wheats with your hands into a large bowl. 3. Break up the chocolate and put it, the butter and the syrup into a bowl, and microwave in short, sharp bursts, stirring occasionally until everything is melted. 4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the crushed Shredded Wheat, and stir thoroughly with a spoon 5. Spoon the mixture into the cases-make a dent in the middle for the eggs to rest in. 6. Place the eggs in the nests, chill in the fridge for 30mins. 7. Happy eating! Don't eat too many! Ingredients: -6 x Shredded Wheats -50g milk chocolate -50g dark chocolate -70g butter or margarine -2tbsp golden syrup -2 x 100g bags of Mini Eggs (or small chocolate eggs) *You can change up the recipe and use rice krispies or cornflakes **make 36 mini nests, 18 regular nests or 12 generouslysized nests. But don't waste the eggs, wait until Mum or Dad cook an omelette or breakfast and ask them to crack the eggs at the top so you can use them. Remember to wash the shells out. 2. Place some cotton wool in the egg shells and add some water. Not too much though. 3. Sprinkle some cress seeds on top of the wet cotton wool. 4. Decorate the front of your eggs with faces and googly eyes. 5. Place your eggs somewhere that is warm and light. After about a week your cress should have began to grow. 6. I used crayons but you could use felt tips, paint or even glitter. When it is dry cut it out. 3. Cut out sleeping Scorch Bach and add a tab on the bottom as shown in the image on the right. 4. Turn the egg shape over and draw a line where you would like to cut it in half so that you cut a straight edge. 5. Turn the bottom of the egg over and glue sleeping Scorch Bach onto the egg as per the picture. 6. Glue the bottom half of the egg onto your card. Either A4 flat or A4 folded. 7. Glue the top of the egg. If you are very clever and have access to some split pins, you could make the top of the egg open and close! 8. Decorate the rest of your card with your Easter message. Print out the designs included in this activity PDF straight onto some card or paper. 2. With an adults help, carefully cut out the easter card with some scissors. Fold it in half along the middle line to make a greetings card. 3. Using coloured pens or pencils, colour in the easter card and decorate it however you like the more colourful the better. 4. Don t forget to write on the card, and then send it to a friend or family member as a gift to wish them a happy easter.
