Fig. 1c Optional Method for Installing on a 95" Post Assembly to "X" Post If installing on a short post, the hub mount piece must be installed first. Note: This figure shows screw and T-nut installation from the back side of the base enclosure. Note: Fish T-nut into slot using a piece of tape. NOTE: The hub mount and extension are the only extrusions that are black annodized. TAPE 1a. Mount extension piece flush with the top of hub mount. TOP OF BASE ENCLOSURE 1b. Tighten four (4) set screws. 1c. 3a 3. Vertical Tube Assembly Starting from inside of the tube back, thread cable ties through two (2) zip tie holes back to inside of tube back. This is very important for assembly on "X" post. It is very difficult to thread cable ties after tube back is assembled on the "X" post. CABLE TIES 4. Align top tube back mounting hole with top bracket clearance slot and formed hole (4a). Screw #10-32 thread forming screw through tube back mounting hole, tube bracket right clearance hole and into tube bracket left formed hole (4b). 6. Moving down tube back, fasten tube back to tube brackets as described. Tube brackets may be moved along post to align tube bracket mounting holes with corresponding tube back mounting holes. Repeat for all remaining tube back mounting holes. 5. Route cables along tube back and make appropriate power and data connections. Zip tie cable(s) to tube back. Align one end of tube front with the tube back. Align snap features on tube front and tube back. Push/squeeze tube front onto tube back until snap features are fully engaged for full length of tube. 6 TUBE FRONT HARNESS TO HARNESS CONNECTOR POWER FEED Page 5 of 20

7. Place Hub Power Piece on Base Enclosure. Don't fasten to the hub at this time. 8. Power piece is open at its back so that it slips around the cables and vertical tube. NOTE: You'll need to lift the conduit out of the way before setting the hub power piece in place. Then feed conduit through opening. 9a 9b DATA BRACKETS 9. Wire data cables to data modules then snap wired data modules onto decora mounting frame (9a). Attach decora mounting frame to the metal data brackets using #6-32 x 1/4" pan head screws (9b). Place decora mounting frame assembly onto hub cover (9c) and mount using four (4) #6 x 1/4" plastite trilobular screws as shown (9d). Note: If no data ports are desired, hub cover data filler pieces are provided to fill the data openings as shown (9e). 10. Assemble Hub Data Piece to Base Enclosure (Fig. 10a). Attach using two (2) #10-32 x 3/4" pan head screws (Fig. 10b). For vertical tube pass-thru application, use hub power piece (Fig. 10c). Snap data jacks into decora frams on hub cover. 10a 10b 10c HUB DATA PIECE HUB POWER PIECE Page 8 of 20

3a 4. Align top tube back mounting hole with top bracket clearance slot and formed hole (4a). Screw #10-32 thread forming screw through tube back mounting hole, tube bracket right clearance hole and into tube bracket left formed hole (4b). Tighten screw. 3. 6. Align one end of tube front with the tube back. Align snap features on tube front and tube back. 9a 9. Fasten data cables into data jacks (9a). Snap wired data jacks into decora frames (9b). Attach data jack to decora frame (9c) using two (2) data jack brackets and fastening the brackets using two (2) #6 x 1/4" plastite 48 trilobular screws, per assembly. Note: If no data ports are desired, hub cover data filler pieces are provided to fill the data openings as shown (9d). 10. Assemble Hub Data Piece to Base Enclosure (Fig. 10a). Attach using two (2) #10-32 x 3/4" pan head screws (Fig. 10b). For vertical tube pass-thru application, use hub power piece (Fig. 10c). 11. Set Hub Cap in place (Fig. 11a). Place Hub Cover onto Hub Base (Fig. 11b). Fasten Hub Cover using four (4) #10-32 x 1-1/2" socket head cap screws (Fig. 11c). 11a 11b 11c HUB CAP HUB COVER #10-32 X 1-1/2" SOCKET HEAD CAP SCREWS Page 18 of 20

J-Boxes should be mounted to the X Posts with provided X and Y Post J-Box Brackets (ref. Fig. A). X-post bracket 1/4-20 THREAD ROD 2. At FENCE HEIGHT the J-Boxes should be hidden within the X and Y Post Fence Transition Covers. Horizontal conduit should run throught the Fence Tube Extrusion and be supported with standard conduit hangers (provided by electrician/installer) as shown in Fig. B. Vertically running hardwires (eg. pigtails hanging from the Technology Hub) should be covered using the X and Y Post Tube Kits where the flexible conduit can be supported vertically with a tie-strap that is internal to the Post Tube (ref.
