Our Company Our story starts in 1959 when Mauro Mantecchini introduced the technology of monocrystal diamond cutting tools to the local automotive, mechanical engineering and goldsmith sectors. In the early '70s we anticipated our competitors, manufacturing the first PCD (polycrystalline diamond) tools in Italy. Company Profile 3
Our Company In the 90s we started to develop PcBN (polycrystalline cubic boron nitride) tools and to manufacture milling machines. In our 54 years of history, we have always tried to exceed customers expectations, developing and manufacturing innovative solutions that allow to deliver cost and cycle time reductions to our customers. Quality and evironment In order to respond to the growing complexity of the industrialized world and to develop products suited to the markets of all continents, the Fiudi organizational model must necessarily be in line with the existing regulatory models. The production chain is in fact fully in compliance with the international process quality management standards UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 During the 2013 we are working to obtain the EN 9100 certification. The adoption of this Quality Management Systems (QMS), which implement the requirement of the ISO 9001 standards, and the additional requirements of UNI 9100 aerospace standard has been a strategic decision, in order to guarantee us this market. The quality of our tools in every detail as well as the satisfaction of our Customer are the core of our commitment.
