Bill D. Brady January 11, 2016 Introduction I am native Las Vegan born at the Las Vegas Hospital in 1946. I am married to Cindy Brady. I have 7 children and 24 grandchildren. I owned and operated Brady Industries most of my adult life until my retirement in 2010. Love of Country, a government that is responsible to the people, and individual freedom and accountability have always been a passion of mine. At the age of twenty-four (24) I began my political career with an appointment to the Clark Country Planning Commission. In 1979 Ronald Reagan convinced me to run for office when I had a one on one meeting with him here in Las Vegas. At the age of thirty-two (32), I ran for the Assembly won. During my second term as an Assemblyman, I was Assistant Minority Leader and then Minority Leader during my third term. When I chose not to seek re-election, I made it my philosophy to run for office or support those who do. I have supported federal, state, and local candidates for both parties with time and resources ever since. I had the privilege of being appointed to the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) by both Governor Gibbons and Governor Sandoval. It was an honor to serve for 8 years on the Commission as both a Commissioner and as the Chairman on two separate occasions. The NAC licenses and regulates all professional boxing and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) events in the state. (BOARD OF REGENTS 03/03/16 & 03/04/16) Ref. BOR-11e, Page 3 of 6
