FEATURES Model 65T electronic transmitter is an extension of the Kent- Taylor 2-wire analog product line. It is designed for factory setting, in order to meet the specific application requirement of measuring low level signals from thermocouples (THC), resistance thermometer (RTD), resistance (ohm) or e.m.f. (mv) sources. The instrument can be easily reconfigured for actual requirements by simple procedures through a standard PC equipped with a specific software available on request. (Part no. AN029) The temperature transmitter can be mounted directly on a thermowell and thermowell extension, or it can be mounted remotely on a pipestand. The transmitter assures operational security by using non-volatile memory and also handling up/down scale procedure under sensor anomalies. Compact, rugged, lightweight, easy to install and service, Kent- Taylor transmitters provide consistently reliable and stable performance under all types of process conditions, coupled with minimum maintenance requirements FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS Standard IEC 584- DIN 470 ASTM E 998 IEC 75 / DIN4760 (α = 0.0085) DIN4760 (α = 0.0068) INPUT SOURCE Linear resistance 2 wires Linear resistance wires Linear resistance 4 wires Voltage (millivolt) Sensor Thermocouple Type B Thermocouple Type E Thermocouple Type J Thermocouple Type K Thermocouple Type R Thermocouple Type S Thermocouple Type T Thermocouple Type N Thermocouple Type L Thermocouple Type U Thermocouple Type W Thermocouple Type W5 Resistance thermometer Pt 00 2 wires Resistance thermometer Pt 00 wires Resistance thermometer Pt 00 4 wires Resistance thermometer Ni 00 2 wires Resistance thermometer Ni 00 wires Resistance thermometer Ni 00 4 wires MEASURING RANGE + 400 to + 820 C (+ 752 to + 08 F) - 00 to + 000 C (- 48 to + 82 F) - 00 to + 200 C (- 48 to + 292 F) - 80 to + 70 C (- 292 to + 2498 F) - 50 to + 760 C (- 58 to + 200 F) - 50 to + 760 C (- 58 to + 200 F) - 200 to + 400 C (- 28 to + 752 F) - 80 to + 00 C (- 292 to + 272 F) - 00 to + 900 C (- 48 to + 652 F) - 200 to + 600 C (- 28 to + 2 F) + 400 to + 200 C (+752 to + 472 F) + 400 to + 200 C (+752 to + 472 F) - 200 to + 850 C (- 28 to + 562 F) - 200 to + 850 C (- 28 to + 562 F) - 200 to + 850 C (- 28 to + 562 F) - 60 to + 250 C (-76 to + 482 F) - 60 to + 250 C (-76 to + 482 F) - 60 to + 250 C (-76 to + 482 F) 0 to 5000 Ω 0 to 5000 Ω 0 to 5000 Ω -0 to 800 mv MIN SPAN 200 C (60 F) 200 C (60 F) 200 C (60 F) 00 C (80 F) 75 C (5 F) 200 C (60 F) 200 C (60 F) 0Ω 0Ω 0Ω 5 mv Response Time selectable time constant (6%) to 60 sec. as defined.
