Submission Agreement Please communicate with the Writer's Life team via our email address, writerslifemag@gmail.com. All queries, submissions and questions (if not already answered at our FAQ page) should be submitted by email. Please Note: Queries, submissions and questions sent via Facebook messages, tweets, or other forms of social media will not be responded to. By submitting to Writer's Life, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Queries for Contributors: 1. Before submitting your query, we recommend you to familiarize yourself with our purpose. Writer's Life is a magazine by authors, for authors. Our mission is to acknowledge the hard work of independent authors, book sellers and literary organizations by giving them a platform to gain exposure to get their books and services in front of the eyes of their target audience.

2. Include in your query email; a short blurb about yourself, what you would like to write about and for which (theme) issue. Also include any links to your blog, Facebook + Twitter (if possible) so we can check you out. Please Note: Do NOT send in full articles as a submission query. Content: Submissions can be in the form of an article, interview, video/vlog, poetry, artwork, photography or printables. Videos/vlogs should be emailed to us as an MP4. Email a short introduction (one or two paragraphs) with your video submission. Integrity: While original content is highly preferred, we are open to accepting repurposed blog posts, provided they are your original work and have not been published anywhere else other than your personal blog. By repurposed we refer to blog posts that have been edited and re-written to fit Writer's Life Magazine. Please reserve all self-promotion for your personal advertisement space. One or two references to a related blog or book is acceptable ONLY if it is necessary to the flow of your article. Any submissions that are overwhelmingly salesy will not be accepted.

All photography must be your own work, or you have the artist s permission to use it freely for commercial use. You must include the name of the artist as credit in your submission. Artwork or photography without specified credit or rights will not be used. Writer's Life reserves the right to re-publish submissions at any time, giving credit to the author. When taking photographs to include with your submission, please ensure they are clear, appropriate and at high-quality resolution. Writer's Life reserves the right to edit and/or crop photographs. Submission Requirements: 1. Word Count: Between 500-800 words. 2. Include a short bio, links to your blog, Facebook fan page and Twitter, and a photo of yourself! (With credit if the image is professional.) Please Note: Your bio should be no longer than 2-3 sentences and should include links at the end. 3. Deadline: A month before the release of the next issue. Issue #/ Theme Deadline Januauary-March Dec 1 April-June March 1 July-September June 1 October-December September 1

Late submissions will not be accepted. 4. Please make sure all spelling and grammar are correct, with no double spaces between sentences. We recommend you have your submission proofread by another person. 5. Writer's Life may edit submissions prior to publication. By edit, we refer to spelling, grammar and punctuation errors only. If further editing is required, we will do our best to notify the author beforehand. 6. We do not claim ownership over your submission. However, you may not use, submit, post or re-purpose your submission on any personal website or blog within six months of the publication date of the issue that you have submitted to. After six months you may use your submission for your own personal blog or website, but must include a link back to the Writer's Life website with the words: 'First seen in Writer's Life Magazine Issue ## - Reprinted with permission.' 7. You agree that all contributions and forms of media you submit, which include, but are not limited to, written pieces, photos, interviews and art, are either: Owned by yourself and you authorize Writer's Life to use them in this publication and any future publications. Are able to be used commercially for free, and Writer's Life is authorized to use them in this publication and any future publications. We will not accept any responsibility for any copyright or ownership infringements made by contributors.

What you will receive: Contributors are not paid but you will score these awesome goodies: Author byline at the end of your contribution. Author photo (if space permits, which it usually does.) Links to your blog, Facebook fan page and Twitter. Exposure to our ever-expanding global audience, including fast- growing mailing list, Facebook fans, Twitter followers and (soon to launch) Writer's Life community. Experience writing for a promising publication it ll look awesome on your resume! Note: You will not get rich writing for Writer's Life Magazine, but think of how much we can all expand our readership if we work together to make Writer's Life a great publication.

Promotion: As well as the exposure contributors receive within the magazine, Writer's Life may also further promote contributors via our website and social media, usually in the form of quotations and/or author mentions. To further spread the word about your feature in Writer's Life, we ask that you share a link to www.writerslifemagazine.com either on your blog or via social media at least once during the month in which you are featured in an issue. Future Use: By submitting a contribution, you give Writer's Life permission to republish your work as part of future publications. For example, as part of a compilation of our best articles, if it is chosen by our team as one of the best, etc. Author credit will always be given in any Writer's Life publication.
