Transom 5 Position the aluminium frame, complete with strengthening spacers, on the floor bases, carefully lining it up with the plaster marks and start plumbing as is illustrated, taking the aluminium thickener bars placed on the door case as a reference. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO LOAD MASONRY DIRECTLY ON THE HEADER 6 FLUSH WITH THE WALL SIDE ANCHORS FOR MASONRY QUICK SETTING CEMENTS Fasten the aluminium frame to the wall with quick setting cement only in some spots to give solidity to the product and wait for it to solidify. Transom 7 8 Before removing the aluminium bars, secure the guide support to the floor, as illustrated. It is now possible to remove the aluminium thickener bars placed on the door case. Proceed the filling the empty spaces between the aluminium frame and the rough wall with cement, being careful not to cause any movement of the aluminium frame and wait it for at least 12 hours. FLUSH WITH THE WALL SIDE 9 Shave the walls, positioning with care the plaster mesh in fibre glass (supplied) on both sides as illustrated, observing scrupulously the parging line determined by the frame itself. ATTENTION: OVERLAPPING THE LINE WITH THE SHAVING, CANCELS THE FLAT EFFECT. 10 At this stage the wall is ready to be painted. Assembly phases for BOARD version FLUSH WITH THE WALL SIDE 11 Positioning the aluminium frame into the metal stud structure is only possible if the latter is without plasterboard plates. Locate the aluminium frame complete of strengthening spacers on the floor bases, carefully lining it up with the plaster marks and start plumbing as illustrated, taking the aluminium thickener bars placed on the door case as a reference. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO LOAD OF MASONRY THE ALUMINIUM HEADER OF THE DOOR 12 Inject polyurethane foam into some spots in order to give sturdiness to the product and wait for it to solidify. DURING THIS PHASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STRENGHTENING SPACERS FROM THE ALUMINIUM FRAME SCREWS 13 FLUSH WITH THE WALL SIDE Position the plates supplied in the assembly kit in the direction of the metal stud structure and fasten them correctly as illustrated. 14 Before removing the aluminium thickener bars, fasten the support guide to the floor, as illustrated. Shave the panel housing pocket with scagliola. 2. After the first coat of scagliola, apply the fiber glass plaster mesh in fibre glass (strengthening armour) on the entire surface of the panel housing pocket; 3. Finish the panel housing pocket with a second coat of scagliola taking care not to overlap the plaster line created by the aluminium frame. SHAVE WITH RELEVANT FILLER FLARED SEAT 17 Plasterboard plate Plasterboard plate FLARED SEAT SPACER Apply the self- adhesive gauze for plasterboard and relevant filler in the flared area. 18 At this stage the wall is ready to be painted. ATTENTION: DURING THIS PHASE REMOVE THE STRENGHTENING SPACERS FROM THE ALUMINIUM FRAME AND CAREFULLY FILL THEIR HOLES. Assembly phases for panel and accessories MASONRY / BOARD VERSION 19 After carefully cleaning the wooden panel, evenly paint it on both sides and on the edges with an undercoating, for ex. primer (when it s supplied in rough). Before proceeding with the chosen preliminary treatment carefully refer to the technical sheet pertaining to the used product. THEN FINISH THE PANEL ONCE AGAIN ON BOTH SIDES AND ON THE EDGES. ATTENTION: ANY POSSIBLE ACCUMULATION OF VARNISH ON THE EDGES MAY ALTER THE UNIFORMITY OF THE GAPS AND COMPROMISE THE MOVEMENT OF THE DOOR PANEL. THE APPLICATION OF VARNISHES, GLUES, SILICONS, WALLPAPERS ON ONE SIDE ONLY OF THE DOOR PANEL COMPROMISES THE PLANARITY OF THE SAME. ALWAYS FINISH/TREAT THE PANEL ON BOTH SIDES AND ON THE EDGES. (for further information and/or support regarding finishing procedures, please contact our technical dept.). 20 Clean the aluminium frame with sandpaper or steel wool to remove any spot of cement or scagliola, and then paint with tempera or other products. THE END RESULT SHOULD BE THE ABSOLUTE INVISIBILITY OF THE ALUMINIUM FRAME INTO THE WALL. 21 - Paint the shaped plate - Paint the vertical and horizontal infilling profiles in aluminium. 22 1 Remove one after the other: 1. Wooden upright beam located at the mouth of the aluminium housing pocket. 2. Polystyrene strips placed inside the aluminium housing pocket, taking care to remove any silicone residues. 23 24 At this stage, remove the provisional pre- positioned screws as shown in the figure. - Insert the guide in the panel housing pocket taking care to place it in the proper mounting support inside the aluminium pocket. - Lift up the side indicate by letter A and carry it up to the seats of the securing screws (verticals screws, presents in proximity of the free end and of the center of the guide ) - Secure the guide with the supplied screws (Screw T.C.E.I. M16, complete with washers). 25 26 Position the panel, complete with its attachments (letter A ) on the seat on the guide (marked with letter B ); Then secure the screws (letter C ) to fasten the panel on the guide (Screw T.C.E.I M 5x20, quantity: 4); Then secure the screws (letter D ) to fasten the plate (Screw T.P.S.E.I M5x20, quantity: 4) At last secure the screws (letter E) to achieve the eventual grip Screw the bolt marked with letter C, to adjust panel height; Turn the bolts marked with letter A and C to fix the above mentioned adjustment. 27 28 Position the little lower guide block into its seat, already fastened to the panel, using the supplied screws. (Screw T.C.E.I. M 5X18 quantity: 2) Apply the 3 cams with the supplied screws as illustrated. (Screws T.C.E.I. M6x40 (A), quantity: 2 with washers) (Screws T.C.E.I. M6x25 (A), quantity: 4 with washers) (Dowel M5x18, quantity: 1 (C) 29 30 Turn the screws market with the letter A (upper part) and B (lower part) to adjust the panel s planarity and obtain the effect of wall totally in line with the closed door. (Dowel M5x18, quantity 1 (C) After the settlements are made, secure the supplied screws A and B, to fix the previous adjustments. 31 32 With the appropriate screws, secure the aluminium shaped plate, previously painted, to the panel into its matching seat, to cover the lower guide block (Screws and plate supplied). (Screw T.V.S. 3x18, quantity: 2). - Using the supplied screws, secure the 2 brush holders as illustrated; - Fit the supplied brushes, exerting pressure on them. (screw T.C.E.I. M 4x20, quantity: according to width). 33 34 When the door is closed, put the vertical infilling profile near the relevant seat on the panel housing pocket; Position the supplied pin in its seat and fasten it with the screw marked with A ; (Screw T.C.E.I. M5x14, quantity: 1) Secure the vertical infilling profile to the lower part, using the supplied screws (indicated with the letter B ) (Screw T.C.E.I. M5x12, quantity:3). Pin supporting the horizontal infilling profile. Pre-fasten the screws as illustrated (without tightening them completely) to connect the aluminium horizontal infilling profile. 35 36 Position the aluminium horizontal infilling profile on the side of the panel housing pocket and then pull it close to the connection spot until it is line with the wall. Complete fastening the screws with the specific Allen screw. (Screw: Support pin for horizontal infilling profile, quantity: according to width).
