The Lili Alessandra rugs are like luxury high-end art for the floor. The designs reflect a Modern Transitional lifestyle with interesting geometric patterns that complement our luxury fabrics and textiles. Hand crafted in India, Pakistan and Nepal, our rugs are hand knotted, hand loomed, and machine woven. Our rugs are made of wool, wool and viscose and some are made of linen and wool blend. Some of the designs are accented with a metallic thread that is hand knotted adding dimension similar to our decorative handmade pillows and throws. Our 100% sisal rugs are machine woven, the sisal designs resemble our hand appliqué techniques on our textile line. Sisal rugs can be custom made as long as the width is no wider than 13 ft and up to 100 ft long. Custom made sisal rugs will take 2 to 3 weeks to ship. CARE AND CLEANING We recommend regular vacuuming for all wool blend rugs and our sisal machine woven rugs. Rugs can also be taken outside for a gentle shake. Due to the handmade quality of our rugs, they may vary slightly in size and color. WOOL BLENDS For all our wool, wool and viscose, and wool blend rugs, we recommend professional rug cleaning. Do not spot clean or use water on viscose blend rugs. SISAL When vacuuming our sisal machine woven rugs, we recommend using the standard floor head; never use a rotating brush. Dry spots can be removed by scraping carefully toward the middle of the spot. Do not rub wet spots; simply absorb with a paper towel, and clean with a damp cloth using mild detergent.
