Compression Molding is a method of molding in which the moulding material, generally preheated, is first placed in an open, heated mould cavity. The mold is closed with a top force or plug member, pressure is applied to force the material into contact with all mould areas, while heat and pressure are maintained until the moulding material has cured. The process employs thermosetting resins in a partially cured stage, either in the form of granules, putty-like masses, or preforms. It is a fast running plastics conversion process for caps and closures providing an efficient processing in terms of short cycle times and low energy consumption. This results in superior performance in terms of throughput and SPARE PARTS FOR INJECTION MOULD dimensional consistency of final items. With a lower conversion temperature, material is less prone to degradation. Compression molding is a high-volume, high-pressure method suitable for molding complex, high-strength fiberglass reinforcements. Advanced composite thermoplastics can also be compression mould with unidirectional tapes, woven fabrics, randomly oriented fiber mat or chopped strand. The advantage of compression molding is its ability to mold large, fairly intricate parts. Also, it is one of the lowest cost molding methods. Range of Products OUR RANGE OF PRODUCTS Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) involves molding the plastic into a preform using the Injection Molding procedure. Typically, the preform is stretched with a core rod during the process. The process is divided into four stages: INJECTION: Molten polymer flows into the injection cavity via the hot runner block, to produce the desired shape of the PREFORM with a mandrel (the core pin) producing the inner diameter and the injection cavity the outer. After a set time the injection moulds and core pins part and the perform held in a neck carrier is rotated 90. BLOW MOULD BLOW MOULD INJECTION STRETCH BLOW MOULD (ISBM) (SINGLE STAGE) EXTRUSION BLOW MOULD (EBM) STRETCHING AND BLOWING: Once conditioned to the correct temperature the preform is ready for STRETCHING and BLOWING to the finished shape. Once the preform is within the BLOW MOULD area, the moulds close. A stretch rod is introduced to stretch the preform longitudinally and using two levels of air pressure, the perform is blow circumferentially. DISCHARGE: After a set time for cooling the moulds open and the preform is removed via drop chutes or robotics. Extrusion Blow Moulding is a manufacturing process used to produce hollow parts that range in size from large septic tanks to small eye-drop squeeze bottles. Using a process derived from the glass blowing industry, a molten open-ended tube of resin (called parison) is extruded through an annular die and captured between two mold halves as they close. Mating surfaces on the mold pinch together the open areas of the tube and high pressure air is introduced inside the captured tube, inflating it to conform to the shape of the inside of the mould. In this manner, blow moulded parts, including bottles for detergents, bleach, household cleaners and food products (including milk, juice, and water) are economically produced. While high density polyethylene is the largest volume thermoplastic used in extrusion blow molding, parts are routinely made from polypropylene, LLDPE and LDPE. INJECTION BLOW MOULD (IBM) INJECTION STRETCH BLOW MOULD (ISBM) (TWO STAGE) In the two-stage process, the preforms are moulded in a dedicated injection moulding system which produces fully-cooled preforms. These preforms can then be stored, shipped, and even sold, before being blow moulded in a different machine. 7 The blow molding machine unscrambles the preforms, reheats them with infrared radiation, and conditions them before blow molding. The process of Injection Blow Moulding (IBM) is used for the production of hollow glass and plastic objects in large quantities. In the injection blow moulding process, the polymer is injection moulded onto a core pin; then the core pin is rotated to a blow moulding station to be inflated and cooled. This is the least-used of the three blow moulding processes, and is typically used to make small medical and single serve bottles. The process is divided into three steps which are injection, blowing and ejection. 8

We have a highly qualified and trained workforce who operates the machineries in Tool Room. We have deployed high end CNC machines in our fully equipped Tool Room with an objective to produce precision driven mouldinterts and high quality mould bases.
