Pfaltzgraff Celebrates 200 Years Pfaltzgraff is celebrating its 200 th anniversary with new patterns, promotions and commemorative items. Bicentennial Collectibles Pfaltzgraff has issued collectible pieces in the Yorktowne, Folk Art, Village TM and Winterberry patterns in celebration of the 200 th anniversary. Items include: Mini Crock Sugar & Creamer Set: This set hearkens back to Pfaltzgraff's founding, when hand-thrown jugs and crocks were a staple of our business. This sugar and creamer are emblematic of our productions, from the thumb handles on the lidded sugar bowl, the hand-applied floral motif and the "sugar" and "cream" engraved on the sides. Each is approximately 5" high. Commemorative Small Crock: This small crock is not unlike the crocks The Pfaltzgraff Co. made a hundred years ago, from the thumb-indent handles to the Americana-inspired stenciled floral motif. This collectible crock can be used for a small arrangement of crocus blooms or offering guests a toothpick after a meal. Approximately 3 1/4" high. Mini Jug Salt & Pepper Set: These quaint salt and pepper shakers are styled like old-fashioned jugs, similar to those produced by Pfaltzgraff's original factory. Miniature Replicas To commemorate the 200 th anniversary, Pfaltzgraff issued a series of 10 miniature replicas of actual Pfaltzgraff products manufactured through the course of its history. Each replica in the collection represents a different era of Pfaltzgraff history. The first replica was introduced in 2002. The entire collection of bicentennial miniature replicas has been available through www.pfaltzgraff.com. 2011 George Washington Miniature Crock: The Pfaltzgraff 2011George Washington Miniature Crock is a replica of an actual crock manufactured by Pfaltzgraff circa 1932. The original crock was produced to commemorate the 200th anniversary of George Washington's birth in 1732. This miniature is the tenth and final replica in the Pfaltzgraff Bicentennial Collection, with each piece representing a different era of Pfaltzgraff history. It comes boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Approximately 3 1/4" high. 2010 Bicentennial Cookie Train Cookie Jar: The Pfaltzgraff 2010 Bicentennial Cookie Train Cookie Jar is a miniature replica of an actual cookie jar manufactured by Pfaltzgraff circa 1940. The original featured the words "Cookie Train" stamped on top of the engineer's cabin. This miniature is the ninth replica in the Pfaltzgraff Bicentennial Collection, each representing a different era of Pfaltzgraff history, and it comes with a certificate of authenticity. 3 3/4" high. 17

Bicentennial Miniatures 2009 Bicentennial Yorktowne Soup Tureen*: The Pfaltzgraff 2009 Bicentennial Yorktowne Soup Tureen is a miniature replica of an actual product manufactured by Pfaltzgraff before 1970. The original measured 7½" high, and featured a hand-stamped floral motif. This miniature is the eighth replica in the Pfaltzgraff Bicentennial Collection. 3½" high by 4" diameter. 2008 Bicentennial Bean Pot*: The Pfaltzgraff 2008 Bicentennial Bean Pot is a miniature replica of an actual product manufactured by Pfaltzgraff circa 1930. The original measured 7½" high, and featured a popular two-glaze dipping technique. The logo, glazes, colors, shape, design and stoneware material used are as close to the original manufacturing processes as current technology allows. 2007 Bicentennial Cookie Jar*: The 2007 Bicentennial Derby Dan Cookie jar is a miniature replica based on a vintage item in the "Muggsy" line, manufactured by The Pfaltzgraff Co., from the late 1940's to 1960. The Muggsy line, designed by Norman and Dorothy Jessop of Baltimore, MD, included cartoon-like character mugs, cookie jars, laundry sprinklers and bottle stoppers. Bicentennial Miniatures 2006 Bicentennial Vase*: Standing 3¾" high, the 2006 vase, featuring a unique, two-tone glaze, is a replica of a 1930 s-era art pottery vase. 2005 Bicentennial Pitcher*: Standing 3¾" high, the 2005 Pitcher is a replica of a 1920's era "spongeware" pitcher. 2004 Bicentennial Crock*: Standing 3¼" high, the 2004 Crock is a replica of a 19th century crock. 2003 Bicentennial Crock*: A replica of an item produced by J.B. Pfaltzgraff circa 1855-1880 at his pottery in York, PA.
