Jim Miller, CFP, CIMA Wealth Advisor Senior Vice President Portfolio Manager Joining Morgan Stanley in 1983 and has worked within the financial services industry for over 30 years. As a Senior Vice President with his focus in overall wealth management, he was awarded the position of Wealth Advisor in addition to his designation of CERTIFIED FINAN- CIAL PLANNER practitioner. Never one to be satisfied with status quo, Jim also became a CERTIFIED INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT ANALYST in 2008. This course work was completed at the prestigious Wharton School of Business. Jim was raised on the family farm in Clive, Iowa, which is now a sprawling suburb of Des Moines. His college years were spent in Ames, where he graduated with a degree in agricultural business from Iowa State University. Aside from a few years out of state, Jim has been a lifelong resident of Des Moines, where he now lives along with his wife, Deb. Their two children, Lauren and Drew followed in his footsteps and also attended Iowa State. Jim s many activities include snow skiing, bicycling and SCUBA diving and he considers himself a gentleman farmer during periods away from the office. Jim also volunteers his time to the Raccoon River Valley Trail Association where he sits on its board and is a member of the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce Finance Committee, along with being a member of the Dallas County Conservation Board. Matthew Marckmann, CFP Portfolio Manager Vice President Financial Advisor Matt has worked as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley since 1999, and attained the title of CERTI- FIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner after only four years in the business. While working in the marketing department of DTN designing websites for stock traders, he gained an intense interest in the area of finance, which led him to join the industry. Since starting with the firm, Matt has focused on the areas of financial planning, asset allocation strategies and alternative investments. He was proud to become a Vice President in 2008 and was included in the 2012 Forty under 40 List put together by the Des Moines Business Record. Growing up on his multigenerational family farm in Fontanelle, Iowa, Matt learned the deeply entrenched family values that he uses in his business practice today. Although he left to earn a degree from Northwest Missouri State University, he still retains ownership of the property that has been in his family since 1890. Matt and his wife, Wendy, now reside in Adel with their daughter, Zoë. When he is away from the office, he enjoys boating, working on the farm, attending college football games and pheasant hunting. Ever the altruist, Matt is a board member of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Great Outdoors Foundation and the Polk County Conservation Advisory Board. 6 MORGAN STANLEY

David Rasmussen Financial Planning Specialist Financial Advisor David began his career at Morgan Stanley in March of 2014. He has completed over 200 financial plans for clients in the Iowa and Nebraska region as part of Morgan Stanley s selective Wealth Advisor Associate training program. A solid financial plan is essential to design the appropriate portfolio for a client that seeks a specific required rate of return and risk. David focuses on portfolio construction in both traditional and alternative investments. David was born and raised in West Des Moines. He attended the University of Iowa s Tippie School of Business and graduated with a BBA in Finance Cum Laude. He subsequently worked within Cardinal Health s Financial Leadership Development Program for three years in Columbus, OH. David received his MBA from Carnegie Mellon s prestigious Tepper School of Business in 2012. David and his wife Christy recently purchased their first home in Clive, Iowa. For leisure they enjoy cycling, running, golfing, and boating.

Should we decide together that outside money managers are appropriate for you, we will draw on in-depth research and analysis to help you select from the hundreds of investment management firms available to you. If you prefer to invest in individual securities, we can help identify specific stocks, bonds and other securities that may be suitable for your portfolio. Whatever approach we decide on, the team will help you keep your strategy on track. 4 Reviewing your performance You will receive a quarterly review that outlines your portfolio s performance, helping you track progress toward your objectives. Moreover, when your personal situation or market conditions change significantly, we can suggest appropriate adjustments to your portfolio to help it remain aligned with your goals. 9
